Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

MaltaBreakfast was too expensive with limited variety of food. The bar staff was a very rude girl, left me waiting for almost half an hour and shouted at me because I put the teaspoon in the sink instead of on the bar. The smell in the common areas is that of dog/cat pee, not pleasant at all. The voltage of the electricity is VERY low. The mobile phone did not charge during the night, ended up without devices the following day. I contacted the reception but they barely spoke English so they did not understand me.

GermanyThe personal was not very helpful in particular when asking for a taxi. Apparently they have their our taxi arrangement and they are more expensive. (70€ to St. Charles station when we paid 50€ for the same distance for 6 people). And 50€ for 3 km without any machine to show you how much you were spending. The taxis are also not punctual. They arrived 10’ late.
It‘s kids friendly. The pool was amazing.

United Kingdomthe standard isn't a 4 stars the room are old isn't good value for money. The hotel is very old 1970? and not the bedroom not refurnish? Because I reserved via booking .com I have the cheaper rooms 2 Rooms with no facility. The USB plug didn't work the fridge as well. I told the reception but nothing done.

Czech RepublicDespite great efforts of the staff, this hotel is not a 4 star accommodation. Everything inside/outside was outdated. No TV remote in the room. Hotel is situated between a highway and a busy road, car noise is constant. For one night only.
Breakfast was decent (no eggs though), appreciated the precations due to pandemic, ham in plastic cups, pastry in paper bags, etc. Swimming pool was small but kids enjoyed it.

United KingdomThe manager had the gall to charge me 1300 euros to replace broken items or soliled clothing and sheets in the room. This is INHUMAN !!!! I was very ill at that hotel and he even called paramedics in three times who then took.me to hospital. I explsined to him that the messin my room was an accident he was also.pestering my brother a lot in England demanding mo ey. That is disgusting £!!!!!

United KingdomThe rooms were horrible , first the AC was not working and it never worked requested multiple times but still the staff did not help, then the room Keys stopped working after second day and never worked again . They made us wait for almost an hour standing outside of our door figuring out how to make the key work , then they gave us a new room where the flush was not working and eventually the keys again stopped working
Just that it had a pool and not very far from the city . The breakfast was also good.

Breakfast great. Lots of options, love their Crepps and pancakes! Fresh fruits. Great for familiy and kids. My children really enjoyed the play room and libary. Big Teddy Bear welcomes Kids at the entrance.
