Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

One receptionist said we had to insert our ticket and pay, a second said we had to insert our ticket and not pay but a third said that we needed a separate ticket to allow us free exit. Quite costly to park so glad we enquired several times!

CanadaThe pool was very cold and needs to be heated. The sun only slightly warmed the pool during the day and it was too cold to use after 4pm. There was also so many smokers at the pool, it really ruined it for those trying to relax. I wish they would ask smokers to only smoke in the upper pool area, so those who don’t want to be exposed don’t have to be. Also, rooms need more power/usb outlets. There was no where to charge our phones easily, and it’s really frustrating. Please put some USB plugs in the lamps or bedside tables.
Loved the size and layout of our room - There was plenty of space for 3 people. The breakfast was fantastic and had so many options. Location was great, close to town, buses and shops.

The staff were amazing and so friendly, the breakfast was amazing and all facilities and extras were also the best! The only thing I would say is that it's a shame the decor in the rooms and elevators is very tired. The hotel needs a make-over in the rooms and halls. The rest of the hotel was amazing!

Excellent breakfast buffet with view of the old port of Marseilles. The staff were super friendly and accommodating (we were allowed park our bicycles in the underground car park, as opposed to in the busy street)
