Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

TurkeyThe room is small. The seperate toilet and bathroom inside the room is very unusefull. The breakfast is same every day. They hold 50 € deposit per person so 200 € deposit is on hold on my card because we are a family of 4. This is completly not acceprable. In booking it dayd 50 euro will be deposited not 50 euro per person. The staff alsı should improve customer commucation.
The only good side is the location. It is very close to everything and in the shopping mall. You can walk everywhere.

GermanyCheck in was 1 Hr later and we had to roam around First to get our room Finished. But unfortunately, the First room they gave us, was a moist room. Musty smell and the window is super moist and you can clearly see the Black molds which is bad for the Health. I requested to change Room because we are allergic to Black Molds. Which was later granted.
It‘s like beside/ Within the Mall. Perfect location if you want to Visit the Christmas Market just like what we did. Near grocery store. Accessible to Tram. Parking space at the Mall.

FranceCheck in is not standardised. We were 3 families and all had different approach. One family paid 150eur deposit, received 1 room card and got a gift for their 11 years old child. The other family paid 200eur deposit, no gift for child and received 1 room card. 3rd family paid 200eur deposit, no gift for child, 2 room cards.
Lobbie was so good as well as luggage service. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was almost perfect!

South AfricaI think it should be compulsory for hotels to do king size beds. We don't have any complaints, it was only a one night stay and we enjoyed the old town immensely.
We liked the location, that was one of the reasons we chose the stay there. Staff was friendly and helpful, we did not have any complaints. You get what you pay for to be honest.

GermanyIt as not the cleanest place and the room was pretty worn down. The AC didn't do what you expect it to do. It wasn't too bad though. A longer stay would have been a bit tedious in the August heat.
Great location at the edge of the old city center. Very convenient to get to restaurants, while not having to negotiate the inner streets with a car.
