We arrived on a Sunday very little was open. I had emailed the property to check if places in town were open for a meal etc. and they had replied saying we were close to the town centre. This would not have been so much of a problem if we had a kettle in the room but all we could do was buy water etc from a local garage.

Very clean, quiet location, spacious bedroom and bathroom, ground floor handy with our two dogs.

Bathroom was a bit dated, room a bit cramped. We were only there for one night so it didn't matter too much. I was surprised to see how close the hotel is to the railway station, but we only heard 1 train, at 7am, so no bother really.

Nice staff, secure parking, not too far to walk into Cognac. Cognac is a lovely town to walk round.

There was an extremely unpleasant smell in the bathroom when arrived back later in the evening . We alerted staff to this in the morning and they were very apologetic, so I am sure they will now have dealt with this .

Super close to the train station and a 10-15min walk in to the main town. Rooms are basic but all you need. Air Conditioning is centrally controlled so you cannot change the temperature in your room directly.

Breakfast (and dinner) were excellent. I loved the layout by which I mean individual motel-style chalet bedrooms rather than traditional hotel corridors.

We chose for the pool and were not disappointed, lots of lounges and warm pool. Breakfast was a highlight the best we have had in France, a really interesting variety. Parking was behind secure fence. Rooms were small but very clean. Staff were helpful with our limited French.

Only the fact they don't offer a kettle in the room. The hotel has restricted time for food availability. This is a basic more budget hotel. It gives all the info so there are no surprises. Please read before booking.

This hotel is basic, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Walking distance into Cognac 15 mins. All the facilities are clean and very comfortable. The pool is a nice bonus especially on the day we returned from Cognac. Cooled off in the early evening sun.

Pillows were hopeless! We were kept awake for a lot of the night by the security lights outside of other rooms turning on & off. The outside shutter could not be secured so could not use it and the window curtain inside was not wide enough to close the lights out. There was no air conditioning in the room, we could not leave the door open all night ( obviously ) & so the room was really stuffy.

Location is great for rail station but a good 15 minute walk from town

Perfect for a motorcycle tour stop over. Gated complex so I didn't worry about the security of my motorcycle. Ten minute walk from town centre. Simple room but clean and comfortable. Premises maintained by the friendly staff very well. Good value for money and I'd definitely stay again.
