How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Absolute clean and new rooms. Very nice and custom breakfast. The price benefit ratio is superb! We booked this hotel before Disneyland, it’s very close in a small town. We will come back :)

There was no TV but for us we didn't need one.
Clean room, good bathroom and good breakfast. Also private parking behind a gate so no worries for your car.

We loved our stay so much that we didn't want to leave:) The host was amazing, very friendly and approachable. Breakfasts were outstanding in taste. The family room was very clean and spacious. Great value for money.

All good. Our room was a bit humid when we returned in the evening but the fan and the windows sorted that out.
The location is perfect for visiting Paris and Disney by car. Boitigny is a quiet rural village just outside the pretty and vibrant town of Meaux. The pool and gardens are a fantastic bonus. Above all, the host is super professional, helpful and serves the best hand-prepared and generous breakfasts, different every day. We were here for 3 nights but would definitely stay for longer very happily.

Room was very comfortable, breakfast was very lovely. Unfortunately we couldn't use the pool because of the weather, garden was very beautiful.

Nothing. A car is necessary to get around but this wasn't a negative for us.
Peaceful location to relax by a beautiful pool after a day at Disney. Rooms very spacious and Laurence has put a lot of work in to making them comfortable and homely. Very large and tasty continental style breakfast with options for cooked eggs. Highly recommended.

It is a very peaceful place. There are no sounds from the outside. It's ideal to take a brake in the nature. The host was very nice and helpful. I totally recommend this place.

Laurence made our stay a pleasant and unforgettable experience. We were 3 adults and 1 kid and stayed in the family room, which has a double bed and 2 single beds and a spacious bathroom with a big shower. One of the tops of our room were the windows on the roof, perfect to see the moon and stars in a clear sky evening. Another top is the swimming pool: clean and not that cold. Not mentioning the communal kitchen in a separate building of the property: refrigerator, microwave and a stove. Each of the 3 rooms of the property had its own cabinet to store food. Plates, cups and cutlery available as well as everything else you need to cook (like pans), if you would like. Parking place inside the property in a dedicated area. And of course: The Breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious, like the juices and the jams made by Laurence from the fruits she picked in the garden in the day before. We stayed for 4 days, and every day we had a different type of croissants. Not mentioning the delicious coffee made by her! The property is only 18 minutes drive from Disney and about an hour of places like the Versailles palace and the Chantilly castle. Our big thanks to Laurence, who was kind and attentious with us during the whole stay and provided us with good tips of places to visit in the days we were not at Disney. Looking forwards to next time :-)

Splendid room, very clean. Breakfast was good. We arrived later than planned due to a long delay on le shuttle, Laurence was understanding. We like nice quiet rural areas, this location ticks that box.
