Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomBe warned, they have a party regularly on a Saturday night, music and dancing on the top floor that lasted until 1 am, not possible to sleep until it stops. But… we gave in and went to dance and had a great time and saw some interesting behaviour. Drinks, parking and breakfast are expensive though!
Bed was extremely comfortable, staff were accommodating and breakfast if expensive were excellent. The party, see negative, turned out to be a bit of a swingers thing, so very amusing for us and in the end added some entertaining sights but you should be aware before you go.

DenmarkIt was our first time at a swinger hotel and we specifically asked staff what the rules were, being the first time at the hotel. And not one word about sex and the rules around it, which was strange
stylish lobby, the rooftop jacuzzi area very cozy and the guests were polite and nice which is key since this is a swinger hotel and most of the action was at the rooftop area. And it was nice that people were not naked in the restaurent, as happens at the beach

United KingdomThe a/c in our room (115) didn't work well. That was a bit uncomfortable. You can avoid party noise (roof top, once per week) by staying on first floor which we did.
Upscale and well-run boutique hotel in Cap D'Agde. Superb reception and front-of-house team, and the concierge is a great guy and very willing to take care of what you need including dropping you off in the golf buggy when he's free. The management of this hotel is good. Positive and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and very generous in quality although EURO25 per head. Rooms were as detailed and fit for purpose. Parking was good and important to book. Access to roof parry was great. We liked that lots of pool towels were available.

United KingdomThe outside area of breakfast was a little messy with leaves and the pool/jacuzzi was not on late evening which was a shame. Would have been ice if breakfast was included in the price of the room.
Everything was lovely.

SwitzerlandPrice value is questionable, but everything in Cap D‘Agde Naturist Resort is overpriced. i guess naked people don‘t care about money. Breakfast is not 5 star, neither is the lack of people working. they were nice but understaffed. For example breakfast buffet was constantly missing stuff but she had no time to check since busy at the kitchen. Rooms were ok clean but we had an antfarm in the bed one morning. I guess that can happen, or not?
ok hotel, it‘s a nice location, situated at the entry of village. Have a driving service to the beach which is not really necessary since the walk to the beach is very close. Party on the rooftop, nice idea but for the price we expected a special or something.

Irelandit would have been nice if the roof top bar opened late. The bar was nicely decorated with great facilities, so it would have been nice to come back for a late drink. There is a DJ box and lighting so maybe it does open late in June, July, August.
So many positives.

United KingdomUnclean. Simply dirty. The hotel needs a decent cleaning, especially the bathrooms. Unfortunately, the whole of Agde needs to be refreshed. Below are pictures of the bathrooms. Please see the colour of the grout. Originally it should be white or light cream. The tiles are also not cleaned. Several items should already have been replaced. It is disgusting, especially for someone who appreciates cleanliness.
The hotel is in a fantastic place and deserves attention. The atmosphere in the hotel is superb. We were also lucky to attend a party on a roof. Lots of people and great fun. A great advantage is a possibility of getting around the village in a special electric car. It works like a taxi but there is no extra charge. If you are somewhere far away, you call the hotel and they come to pick you up.

IsraelDisappointment, let's start with the location, it is at the entrance to the village and far from the sea and all the clubs, there was a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom, they entered our room without permission while we were not in the room in order to fix it and in addition they didn't fix it, they left the ceiling open with no light in the bathroom, on the balcony there was a water leak that made a dripping noise All night, the air conditioner did not work in the height of summer. The hotel has parties at night and you can hear the music in the rooms until 1:00 am.
