The hostel was absolutely people friendly. Great hippie vibe. Safe. Helpful. Answer all my questions. Great for writers and poets! I was able to finish up a writing submission on time.

Modern hotel, with a lovely view from my room. Convienient with a restaurant at the property, as well as a kitchen, loundry facilities and a room for working. Kitchen staff was especially welcoming and nice.

The tables tend to have bread crumbles that could be cleaned more often but nothing that would ruin an experience. I think some guests should lower their voice when speaking inside the rooms, maybe a sign inside the room would work. But most of them are friendly and polite.

The guys in the front desk are nice, food is a bit expensive but it is good I think. Beds are comfortable and even though they have some vinylish material to protect them, they are fresh to sleep. Coffee was good and I could send some emails from the restaurant, something that is appreciated.

The rooms are not sound proof so all noise from external patio are very loud expecially that everything night there is a party or concert.

The hotel and restaurant area was really nice vibe and the staff welcome with open arms! The room itself looked over the bar so it was very quiet at night once the bar closed (10:30pm).

I appreciated the capsule system of beds, curtains on each booth. It is clean, calm. The perfect buffet and bar underneath, far from sleeping area where you can choose the breakfast or have a shot in the evening. The location is very good for exploring old Lyon. Wi-Fi works perfectly.

The location is at the hill part of Lyon, right in the middle of a hill. Doesn’t matter you walk down from metro station (Croix rouge) or bus station from the park (climb up ) you both need to suffer with big luggage.

8 people dorm is quite large with several windows so the fresh air come threw it’s pretty decent. Quite at night and the bath, toilet are separated which is very useful for sharing.

The light in the room could be better. And if you do not have a reasonable physical condition, to go from the city back to the hotel could be a little challenge due to the hill that you have to climb :)))

The hotel is very clean, fancy and with a nice design. We were upgraded to a Standard XL room which was a nice surprise. The room was big enough, clean, with a very comfortable bed. Also the bathroom was a nice surprise (with a big plus for the shower floor and bath products). The breakfast is delicious, not many options but what you receive is very good quality and enough to start perfect the day. Is not something that you don't like but you need to know that there is no TV or fridge in the room, if this is important for you. And also no safe in the room. Instead, there is a fully common kitchen at the first floor, where you find a fridge, cooking options etc. And also at the 1st floor are the lockers, so if you arrive early and the room is not ready, or you want to let something as a laptop for e.g. you can use this lockers (there are small, medium and large, with prices starting from 2 euro/hour up to ~20 euro/24 hours). The hotel has a nice restaurant area and a terrace where you can enjoy a beer or to have dinner if you want.

heating was the main issue we had, you can only set the heater to 21 degree and it not enough from my perspective we were lucky because lyon was sunny when we were there, also it was little bit noisy if you are sensitive about noise it might be a problem for you. shower head was little bit small for me but its fine. lastly location is really central but its on a hill so its hard to walk back to hotel after long day of traveling around.

amazing place with really good energy in the lobby at night its gets little bit noisy until 12 but its not problem if you want to have some fun :D most of the nights they have events with different occasions which was amazing and fun. i would reccomend you to make a reservation for their brunch its great for the value. its really innovative hotel and it was great experience to stay there, comfortable bed and clean simple room.

Just a few points… it’s not a big deal 1. Before arriving at Pilo, you should walk on a slope so it’s a little tired. 2. The locker in the room has no lock, so you have to bring it yourself

Each capsule, "unit", does not have a fan or any method of circulating air, so it gets rather stuffy in there. To each their own, but there was also a person sharing the room in one of the other units who had a very strong smell of cannabis that stunk out the entire room. Could have been that he used it / unpacked in the room, because the smell was strong enough to not be missed.

Friendly staff, location was near enough to good transport links. The kitchen was also clean and well organised/stocked.

No electrical plugs at the tables on the ground floor of the bar. I understand the co-working place is upstairs but sometimes I felt like staying on the lower ground and couldn't really.

I really enjoyed the interior design of the whole place. Really enjoyed evenings in the shared chilling place and to work in the mornings at the co-working space.
