We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomWe stayed at this expensive hotel to use the spa. On arrival we were informed a mother and toddlers group meant it was closed to us until 2.00pm. We were therefore unable to use it. When we complained we were told we should have checked!!! During breakfast, which a very non 5 star buffet with dreadful hot options, Luke warm machine coffee and indifferent staff. When I asked them to clear some dirty plates they took a clean one and were about leave the dirty ones. Breakfast ended at 10.30 but at 10.10 they started stripping tables for lunch and ironed tables clothes. I hate this as it makes you feel unimportant and that you are in the way of their schedule. It felt like a building site with bare wooden tables and extension chords running along the floor. 5 star?? Not in our opinion sadly. Will not be returning.
Room was a good size but the TV in the sitting area was broken.

United KingdomWe booked this hotel because of the spa that is the only reason we were told that the spa was very good. I phoned the hotel and on arrival spoke with the hotel and paid €30 for use of the spa. I am registered disabled and when I hit changed and into my swim shorts and was about to get into the pool I was stopped by a pleasant guy but never the less it was very embarrassing. I was not allowed to swim swim shorts only tight fighting speedos which is a hard ask when your body does not conform. Girl at spa reception was very rude and laughed as we were leaving. I asked to speak with the manager at the time and still waiting.

You just can't fault it, beautiful hotel, we like it very much, very clean and comfortable 👌, it almost perfect. Wouldn't change a thing. Very good breakfast, private car park, nice peaceful stay.

Netherlandspictures online suggest a spa is included also when you look it up trough Google it says breakfast is included. both are not though. which was a disappointment. when we decided after all to use the spa but I was not allowed to go in cause in didn’t appropriate swimwear and was told to buy a new swim short for another 30 euros extra. very disappointing and also rude staff who didn’t seem compassionate about anything.

Franceit is a 5stars hotel : we have been told it was not possible to have diner on the premises. that is insane. at this level of price, it is unacceptable. no valet parking in top.

The hotel has a great location to visit the Puy Dôme. But it is not a 5 star place. The staff is not exceeding expectations. They did not mention on forehand that the spa was closed and I had to go back 5 times to ask for compensation. Which in the end they solved. The breakfast is average you would expect fresh coffee and more options for hot dishes.
