Lovely old establishment, set quietly in the middle of nowhere. Superb spacious room, with a bathroom AND a shower room, opening direct on to the courtyard. Good restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. Thoroughly enjoyable one-night stop which we would highly recommend.

The property is outstanding and the only minor criticism is that the restaurant is set up for fine dining which can be a bit over facing if you are looking for a lighter meal. This can be accommodated but departing from the fixed price menus to eat a la carte is quite an expensive option.

This is a beautiful Logis built around a traditional Manoir with large walled gardens and a courtyard. There is an outdoor pool for use in season with an accompanying spa and hot tub. The on site restaurant is excellent and all the bedrooms and public rooms are decorated to a very high standard.

A regular stop over en route Spain. Rooms are elegantly appointed. Spacious grounds with outdoor pool. Warm welcome. Mostly French customers during our stop, so French language prevailed but English also should you need it. We ate outside and for a Tuesday evening in an out of the way place, it was very busy. We couldn’t help overhear the bookings being taken for future meals…..always a good sign. Didn’t stop for breakfast.

The weather was very warm and the bedroom hot with only a door and no windows or air-conditioning, a fan would be helpful. The wet room shower did not drain very well, making the floor tiles very slippery.

Fabulous courtyard buildings in a very quiet and peaceful location., The food and service were excellent in a very popular restaurant and the staff were very welcoming. The pool was a bonus on a hot day.

The waiter of the restaurant would not show us the menu or drinks menu. there was none he said. Afterwards we saw the menus on a table in the restaurant . This was not so Customer friendly! But luckily there was the very friendly help of the person in charge of the hotel!

nitpicking but bathroom amenities were fairly sparse and the TV quite small given how large the room was.

Beautiful grounds in a peaceful rural location that was convenient for visiting La Rochelle Cognac, Bordeaux… The junior suite was large, clean, well appointed with separate shower room and bathroom. The restaurant was incredible with superb food, wine, service. portions very generous so build up an appetite!

We were given such a warm welcome, shown to our beautiful room and immediately felt able to relax. The Logis is set in beautiful grounds in the middle of peaceful countryside. We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool, borrowing bikes to explore the nearby villages and building up an appetite before our brilliant dinner. The perfect place for a relaxing long weekend or few days of calm!

There was a zooming noise (probably of the swimming pool). But not too bad. We didn’t complain about it.

The bed was superb. Very comfortable. And the host of the restaurant Thierry was really how a host should be. Very helpful, overseeing all, entertaining and swift. Restaurant was good and nice dining outside on the terrace.

The hotel locked it’s doors and did not let us in , they took our money and agreed to an 11pm check in on the booking I telephoned for directions minutes after booking and was told that they would not allow us in as it was 11pm- they still kept our money . We then had to find alternative accommodation .
