The receptionist was kind and welcoming. I was treated to a complimentary coffee and croissant! On top of it, I got my early check in & I was over the moon! At check out I was also treated with a coffee! The power shower was divine!

We truly loved our time at Residence des Artes. From the moment we saw the room we felt like it was the perfect place to stay in Paris. The decor and comfort of the suite could not have been better, and the location was perfect. One block from the St. Michael Metro and RER made our airport connection very easy and all our Metro excursions a snap. The recommendations for restaurants were very helpful, and so many were within 1-2 blocks. I’m sure it will be even better when renovations on the bistro are complete. We love the history and stories involved with the street and the buildings (Henry IV and Gabriella D’Estrees) Our only point of concern for people considering this hotel is that it would not work for people with limited mobility. There is a very tiny elevator ( as in many Parisian buildings) but steps are required to get to it from any level. We will definitely book here again if we are lucky enough to return to Paris.

Elevator was too small, felt claustrophobic, so I always used staircase, with no problem.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Nothing too much bother for them. The breakfast's provided were very good value for money. Very happy with our stay there.

No notable negative comments as the hotel was wonderful, staff are fabulous and the area is fantastic for walking and exploring. If I must find something to suggest for improvement, my only comment would be to recommend that different or additional linen be provided for the fold out bed. We would have liked a sheet to go under the blanket that stays available in the room (a heavy blanked is not something that can be cleaned after every use, so best to provide guests with a flat sheet to go under the blanket, or better yet a duvet).

The location of this hotel was excellent, there is so much on it's doorstep in the way of restaurants, a shop to buy milk, water, wine etc. The room was spacious, it was well equipped with a little kitchen area and a coffee machine. It was my first time in Paris in over 14 years, I was arriving on my own with my children and my priority in choosing somewhere to stay was 24hr staff to assist if needed, and safety. This hotel met that need, and the staff exceeded my expectations as they were amazing! All the staff were so friendly, proactive and helpful. The breakfast included is served in the foyer which is so quaint, the bread and pastries were delicious. The decor in the room is certainly not "modern" or "minimalist", but don't let this put you off as the space is great. My only feedback would be to provide a sheet with the blanket on the sleeper couch, or make it with the same linen you would a hotel bed. I do believe had I asked for a sheet, one would have been brought to me, but we were all so exhausted from exploring the area around the hotel that we were too tired to make a fuss. I would definitely stay here again, I would highly recommend this area for close proximity to vibrant streets and wonderful city sights.

A minor issue, but as baby boomers with declining sight, we found the lighting in the room could have been brighter. This however seems a common problem, even in new hotels.

We were delighted with this beautiful little hotel. We enjoyed a decent size room and bathroom and a very comfortable bed. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Even though we arrived early, we were allowed into our room and were very grateful that our heavy bags were taken to/from the room for us. It's location on a very quiet street is a few minutes walk to the Seine and major attractions including Notre Dame and to an abundance of fantastic restaurants and cafes.

Some of the furnishings seemed a bit tired, but that added to the charm. The elevator is tiny, but we got used to it, and were so happy to have it!!

We loved this small hotel because it was like staying in an apartment, and quite large for Paris. The kitchenette is small, but useful. The bathroom was modern and updated, and the shower was terrific! We loved having a separate seating area . They made up the room every day, and the staff was really friendly. The location was wonderful - the metro was close by, and the Seine down the street. I would definitely stay here again - great value.

Even though the room was clean and tidy it was small. I also think breakfast should be included in the price of the room. It wasn't a cheap hotel.

Location was superb, close to the metro, shops, restaurants and sights. Felt very safe at all times. Room was clean.

    A little bit of luxury

Breakfast is nice but there is nothing hot. No menu as such so you don't know what coffee is available for example. All nicely done but could be more substantial. I had a small fruit salad and didn't think the pineapple was quite right. Also the chairs are very low and I found them quite uncomfortable. Not really designed for a leisurely breakfast, more of a brief croissant stop. At night the street was rather noisy but this is not the hotel's fault, luck of the draw perhaps?

Staff were lovely and gave us a glass of Champagne in the next door Cafe when we mentioned it was a Birthday trip. Room was not huge but fine for a short stay and was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a nice 'boutique' feel and seems like a little. bit of luxury. It is very well located near Notre Dame and the river. Nice doors which actually open onto the street.

Rooms are in the smaller side but that is to expect of most hotels in Paris.

Staff were super helpful and kind. My luggage didn’t arrive and they offered to assist with phone calls. Also very helpful in giving tips of surrounding area. Location is great, walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. Neighborhood is safe and beautiful.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Friendly, professional staff. We had a junior suite which was perfect for us with our child. The room was warm and comfortable, very clean, and we didn't know if the adjacent room was occupied as we had such a quiet stay. The metro is a stone-throw away making all of Paris easily accessible. The area itself is great for walking with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
