The key pick up location is really far away from the apartment. It's about 10 blocks away, which becomes complicated considering you are carrying your luggage with you.

Good location, small but had all the commodities. Electric Stovetop, Microwave, kitchen sink, AC, Private Bathroom, etc

BED BUGS!! Saw someone removing the mattresses and spraying down the room next to ours. Left the next morning to catch a very early flight and noticed bed bugs on our bags. We have been very cautious and checked ourselves and bags before and after each new accommodation. When I contacted the management of pearl residence they blew me off and told me they clean well in between guests and that the (very clear and obvious photo I sent them of bed bugs) were undetectable. obviously it’s very unfortunate and bad timing that we didn’t notice until literally 20 minutes after we left and were on the train to the airport. Tried to resolve it privately but they were very unprofessional and took no responsibility.

The key handover was inconvenient and I was asked for my credit card number! I foolishly gave it and then had to cancel my card when I realised my mistake. The man who escorted me to the hotel kept demanding money from me and when I tipped him he wanted more. to cap it all the bed was smelly and the window shutters looked as though they had never been washed in their lives. A very unpleasant experience.

The worst hotel I have ever visited in my life, everything is old and bad, the keys must be taken 20 minutes walk from the location of the room and 30 € are placed as insurance, the room is very hot and you must pay € € to operate the air conditioning for 1 night The street is very noisy and it is impossible to sleep there, this is only Fraud. The toilet is shared outside the room, not as in the pictures

I wasn’t allowed to stay the night and did not receive a refund all because i had an emergency situation with my credit card and could not pay a €30 cash deposit for the key. Bear in mind i had paid the full amount to say one night. Whilst the situation was my fault there was no leniency from the management, which was upsetting to say the least because i was left stranded. I provided multiple solutions to the issue but was met with no kindness or understanding. Would not recommend unless you are sure that no emergency’s will happen to you.

it was the worst experience. i walked to the reception (which is located another place) they were not helpful and rude. i am asked to give my credit card for the deposit. I refused because i already paid everything on booking.com. then receptionist keep me waiting deliberately and went on with other customers. i spent like over 1 hour just for check in. the place stinked. synthetic sheets wasn't clean. during the night people slammed the doors constantly and someone hit the main door. so i couldn't sleep.

I'm sure they offer rooms of all sizes, but mine was laughably small. Like clown car small. I'm a very thin person and still struggled to get around inside the room and bathroom. There was an AC unit, but I could not find the remote to control it. The mattress had an uncomfortable plastic cover on it. The building is nice but someone from The States may understand a reference to the Chelsea Hotel to describe the room itself. I didn't mind all that much, but I know others have higher standards than me.

I am a no fuss person with simple needs while traveling. This place served its purpose at an affordable rate. The location is close to the "old city" area of town and an easy, quick walk to the promenade/beach. Although I did not do any cooking, they did manage to fit a kitchenette complete with an induction stove top. It was reasonably clean for what it was, and a safe place to rest your head for a night or two.

Place is really small, the sink is basically useless, lots of plugs didn't work. The room smelled like smoke, clearly people have been smoking inside the room, even the blankets smelled like cigarettes. Anyway the most annoying thing is that you have to check in and check out at the reception that is located 10/15 minutes walk from the actual place. In the building and outside the room there are the keypads and lockers so we really didn't understand why they request to go in person to another place instead to use the lockers. Keep this into consideration in case you have luggages and stuff because it's pretty annoying. They also ask for 30 euro deposit for the keys to be paid in cash (!) Apparently they are unable to just pre-authorize a credit/debit card and it's mandatory to leave this deposit in cash only. They give you back the deposit when you check out and return the keys. Overall, poor quality vs money value.

Disgusting, the room was not cleaned. I opened the door and it stank badly, the previous guest’s towels were hanging there wet, the trash can was full and there was toothpaste in the sink in the kitchen. The shower did not drain well. I sent an email to the hotel with photos and they did not bother to reply. Also had to pick up keys at a hotel 10 minutes away and had to drop them off again after checking out. The owner was very rude and unapologetic despite being able to speak to him in French. Neighbors were loud, the road outside was very noisy. Overpriced for the very poor quality. The photos are how I found the room when I first opened the door. The smell was worse.

DO NOT BOOK! It's a scam! They take 30 euro for the key deposit and they dont give it back! I ended up paying 50 + 30 for my worst stays! The room was noisy, cold, small, rusty, and dirty! Booking.com said they will help me to take my money back, but it was a lie! They didn't do anything although I contacted them many times! So literally booking.com provides no service in case of any problem they just say they will fix, but they never do!

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! That will be the biggest mistake of your trip. The staff are rude and disrespectful, and they are told to scam people! The room was too noisy and small and cold and dark! I couldn't even sleep for a second! They get 30 euro as key deposit and they try every trick and decoy to keep it! So if you book a place with 60 euro, expect paying 30 euro extra! Although I booked a place with private bathroom, those conmen gave me a room with a bathroom outside..that I had to come out from my room every time, walk all along the halway and go to the bathroom...this caused one of my neighbors almost to fight me because of the noise to open and close the door! If you have any question from them, you can call them! They will reply in the most rude way and hang up on you! Worst stay that I had in my life! Rethink before booking!

the reception is 10-15 min walk away. although this may not be a big deal, but it is when you have a heavy suitcase to drag around. there are no elevators in the building. the room has a weird smell to it. wifi was super spotty, couldn’t connect to it for hours. bathrooms are not part of the room, they’re in the hallway where everyone can share.

the location is pretty central. near the old town and the beach. very close to the tram as well
