Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Once we got over the surprise that we had booked an apartment in a retirement facility - we were delighted with the facilities - swimming pool, restaurant, gym, parking, beautiful communal area & great staff. The new manager is superb as she had the idea of letting empty apartments to tourists. Residents who have already moved in love chatting to the tourists. 20 minutes walk into centre of town and next to railway station.

Beautifully presented and well furnished, newly built accommodation. Very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen area. Around 20 minute walk (somewhat uphill!) to centre ville with plenty of choice of restaurants/bars.

a brand new spacious complexe. lovely swimming pool. Beautiful gardens with exotic flowers. Very quiet after the hectic race week end. Only a 17 minute walk to Les Halles and historic centre. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating.

FranceRoom was cold when we arrived. Kitchen very poorly equipped - couldnt even make a cup of tea or coffee. No microwave, no coffee machine just a toaster! Two glasses, one mug and two bowls in the cuboard. One towel in the bathroom for two people and no hairdryer - although reception sorted this out very quickly when we asked. Was fine for an overnight stay but very sparse for a longer stay.
Extremely friendly welcome from the person at the front desk despite a late check in Everything was very clean and bed although firm was comfortable.
