Location is great. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the opera house and many good restaurants. The room is basic. Parking can be a problem. I was lucky to get a parking space.

it’s on the top of the hill so if don’t have a car or scooter Y have to be ready f walking up a hundreds meters I choose one bed a queen size or bigger but they just collected 2 beds together. It’s not the same.

if you are planning to travel in the next few weeks and you will arrive by train. please note the C13 bus leaves for Croix Rousse from a temporary stop out from the station to the left. Walking down to the residence is much easier than walking up. The Residence is well worth staying just for the view of Lyon and the hill full staff.

Inside the room, there was a note saying I must do the dishes and take the garbage out before leaving or I would face fines. I don't care about do the dishes, however there was no detergent in the room and the only way to clean the dishes is through the dish-washer machine. In any case, we have to ask for the dish-washing soap in the reception, what is unpleasant. About taking the garbage out, no way I would do it. To be honest, I didn't even know where to throw it out. Location is not great either if you come by public transportation, although it is near to the city center, we have to climb a big slope to get to the hotel. I tried to call Uber but I got no lucky, it seems the drivers don't like to go there. Maybe it works if you call a cab, but I gave up and just walked all the way up.

Room was clean, room size is good and it has a great view of the city (Lyon river and bridge). Staff was very friendly.

It has no airconditioning, so it can be a bit warm at night. The room has a ventilator to make the heat more bearable.

Affordable hotel near city center. Good if you do not want to spend too much. They offer paid parking onsite and there is a public parking garage nearby.

My only trouble was that the outside temperature during my visit was extremely high, and the room had no air conditioning, just a usual fan.

The location is excellent. The hotel is situated close to the city center and very to a metro station. The only minor detail to be mentioned here is that the last few meters before arriving at the hotel one has to walk uphill, and the street is quite steep. The room was comfortable and even with a small kitchen. The breakfast was good. All the staff I met was very kind and helpful.

Lyon during 35 degree weather, and there sadly wasn't any a/c in the bedrooms. There was a fan, which helped a little. I'd definitely go back to Lyon, and this hotel, just maybe Spring or Autumn when it's a little cooler!

Ask for a front facing room so you get a view overlooking the river. The view from the back rooms overlook a carpark. The mezzanine has very steep stairs up to the bed so not good for anyone with mobility problems.

It was a great location ten minute walk into central Lyon and across the bridge to the old town. We were able to park within the grounds. Nice view across the rivers from the front of the hotel. The staff were very helpful.

The lift was broken the whole time we were there (6 nights!). The hotel is on a steep hill and having to walk these extra 3 floors every day was not welcome.

Nice hotel, some interesting features (the staircase). The view on the city from the front is fabulous.

super hotel staff. my big thanks!!! I am traveling with a dog (French Bulldog) the hotel is pet friendly. the staff is friendly. I'm in trouble. the car door slammed shut. Thanks to the hotel staff, they helped me a lot and supported me in every possible way. everything ended well. The car was opened and I continued on my way. the hotel is excellent. one minus no air conditioning!
