How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Elegant and comfortable hotel. Rooms are a good size and very beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds and very quiet aircon, which is rare. Great location. Breakfast very nice but a little pricey for what it was. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Lift was very tiny but the staff will assist you with your bags. Make sure you use this service as it is a struggle to get people and bags into the lift together.
Exceptional service staff. Great little attic bar. Comfortably appointed room.

Beautiful hotel in an unbeatable location of Paris. Especially loved how boutique feels it gives, beautifully decorated with illustrative branding. We will definitely be back!

Espresso machine wasn't working properly
The staff were super nice specially Patrik and Merci they helped us with a delivery issue we had from one of the luxury shops

The rooms were quite small but I found that this is expected when in Paris. We booked a family taxi with the reception previous day of our departure date as we were travelling as a family of 4 including luggage. When it arrived the next morning they only sent a small taxi. We were abliged to take 2 taxis as we were going to be late which was twice the price to get to the airport and spoiled our last family ride to end our holiday in paris.
The receptionist was very pleasant for the welcoming. Answered all our questions regarding the restaurants in the location. The hotel is in walking distance to the touristic sites and the cafes . Restaurant next door served nice food.

Couldn't be any more central. Perfect location to explore Paris on foot. Staff were amazing. Concorde metro station at end of street.

The tiny lift and many stairs to climb to the reception on the 6 th floor and little if no signage on entering the building. The breakfast was a little poor , cold coffee and undercooked eggs.
It is a small hideaway hotel away from the bustle of the street below . It is small and compact with design led rooms which are nicely furnished with comfy beds. Staff were pleasant.

every morning, and it was very early in the morning, we were woken up by the staff who were moving trash cans in the yard!!! it was unbearable! This ruined all the good impressions of this hotel! And the staff did not allow us to check out a couple of hours later. I had a plane late in the evening.

Death trap getting in and out spiral staircase to 6th floor for office room was on 5th floor. One tiny elevator that had enough room for two small bags and one person at a time. It’s also shared with four other floors that have shared offices.
Clean nice rooms. A little unorthodox use of building

the bottle opener in the room was broken. the coffee machine didn’t work for a full cup - just espresso shots. the room was not cleaned overnight - bed was not made and bathroom not cleaned up.

Breakfast was very limited. rooms were not cleaned properly (if at all). Rooms are very noisy - you can hear people walking/talking in the room above and in the adjacent rooms. It's not a 4 start hotel - that's for sure
