How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

shower cabin was too small,even for my girlfriend. only a baby could use it without complaining. stairs very narrow,squeeky.
excellent location. acces to food,transportation-top notch. dozens of small restaurants,caffees, whatever your belly needs. metro all around.very safe area, no gangs or drug addicts/drinkers/graffiti stuff.

I had to ask for another duvet as the one in the room had lots of hair on it. Door wouldn't lock properly.
Close to centre , Aleem at reception was accommodating. Has a late check out if 12pm

They could improve by small things like having shampoo and better bedsheets + better pillows and a small tv
Location is more than perfect. The place is nice, but not incredible. A good fit if you are on a budget.

It is old building and you shouldn't expect so much, good audibility, old corridors and stairs, the room was not cleaning during out visit and we have no tools to clean the room ourselves.
Friendly stuff, clean room, enough comfortable bed and mattress, clean linen, close to city center, near to metro line 9, you can go to Versaille (9 + bus 171) and Eiffel tower (9 - Trocadero). Good choice for sleeping.

Room was okay but not for longer trips as the rooms are extremely small and there were no cupboards and locker to keep stuff. No very less charging points and electric kettle was not cleaned at all.
Staff was supportive and helpful. They did help me in printing out some documents.

There's no elevator, the room was small and old. Everything was outdated.
It was at an amazing location. Everything was at walking distance.

Stairs, no daily room cleaning or replacement of towels (they gave me a set of towels).
Well on a tight budget this was great. I didn’t expect my own bathroom and shower, but I was given it, which was a surprise. The floors were marble and nice, and the rooms were decent from a budget solo traveler’s standards. The location was nice. Close to #9 station - Voltaire and #B - Nation station which is convenient for traveling. Good shops nearby too. Staff were cool also. Wi-Fi good. They gave me towels in beginning.

The room was smaller than I thought with a faucett in front of your bed. The private bathroom's door could not close.
Close to Paris center. There is a Train Station in a few steps. The staff was kind with our questions and requirements.

A very small bathroom and toilet and cleanness is your challenge.
The location is not bad. The main important thing is that the metro is really very close. One more issue, on my first day, I met Ismail, in reception. He was a really helpful and nice guy. Explained everything, what kind of questions I had

The building is a bit old but that didn't bother us much. Note: I wrote the hotel to get a double room instead of single, they replied with the general acceptance message with instructions. When we arrived, they only had an individual room and said unless they respond to your message directly acknowledging it, they don't make changes to the reservations so be ware of this!! In the end, the friendly staff was able to switch my room for a double, but one night we had to share the single bed since the hotel was full that night.
The location is amazing, near the metro and main attractions. Neighborhood has everything you need. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. The room is small but comfortable and clean. A place to rest and sleep (no kettle or fridge). Bathroom inside the room is small

Just the fact my bed shits wasn’t changed and towels for the shower too but the staff quickly resolved the problems.

There was a bunch of loose hair on the blanket provided, which is not ideal.

Only the toilet lock was broken The wall in the room was peeling there’s loud water dripping sound in the wall And no lift in the building Besides these flaws everything is okay, nothing to complain about
