Location is good for visiting Versailles Castle. We had a good rest after long walking around the Castle and the gardens. Nice breakfast.

I didn't understand what WiFi i needed to use and if i needed a password (i didn't ask, and i only stayed for 2 night so it wasn't much of a problem)

The entire staff was welcoming and the breakfast was very good, a little expensive but not too much.

In our room, the bathroom was tiny. I had to sit nearly sideways on the toilet and the shower controls confused me. Still have no idea how I got it turned on or off. Hahaha

Nice hotel on a quiet street but close to everything Versailles. Yes we walked around 7 miles each day all was good

The fact that you need to call the door bell to let you in. Especially, when you are traveling with pet, you need to go out to walk it late, and receptionist was not looking happy when we went out and came back after 21:00. It would be nice if room keys would open the front door. Otherwise, you feel trapped.

Great location, near the main tourist spots. Good restaurants and city market optionsnearbyy. Easy to navigate area. Plenty historical buildings nearby. I loved that hthe otel had parking designated for guests.

A perfect place to stay the night while making a two day visit to the Palais de Versailles and the Trianons. Stylish, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, helpful staff. Minutes from bus stops to the RER and the Palais, or a short walk to the Palais. Good restaurants close by.

Lots to like here: 1 - Good location in Versailles only a fifteen minute walk to the palace and plenty of good places to eat less than five minutes away from the hotel 2 - Excellent staff, incredibly firendly and helpful, can't commend them enough for their work! 3 - Great facilities, the rooms were very comfy, very clean and very bright, and excellent place to stay.

Entry into on site parking, quite narrow.

Location was easy walking to Versailles and restaurants. Parking was on site. Room was clean. Electric by bed. Parking with gate was secure.

Towels in the bathrooms are alittle tired/thin/grey. Maybe get new ones. There is no shelf or dish inside the shower, to put razor, shampoo, etc on. This seems to be a Europe thing. There is an amazing coffee machine in the lobby, for the breakfast. It would have been great to be able to use that and make coffee.

Unfortunately we were both sick, so was holed up in our room for 3 days. I so missed all the attractions. Breakfasts were great. Big selection Loved the bed and pillows. Everything was so clean So many restaurants around to use

Great location, walking distance to the Palace, restaurants and the train station. Breakfast was very good with more options than what you typically see. Sam at the front desk was very pleasant and extremely helpful. He provided step by step directions on getting around on the trains with multiple transfers. We didn't have any problem getting to our destination in Paris, and back. Parking our large SUV at the hotel was easy. Overall a great stay!

The location of Hotel De Lys was excellent. Easy to get to from the Palace of Versailles and centrally located to the market, restaurants and walking distance to the Palace if need be. The staff provided excellent service and made it possible for us to park our van even though parking was not garunteed with our reservation. The bathrooms are new and updated and the beds comfortable. Unusual for France, there were even mini-fridges in the rooms.

The car park was private and easily accessible. Also, despite the room behing a bit small, it was really convenient and sufficient for the night. The hotel receptionist was super welcoming and provided us with plenty of information on what to do upon our arrival.

The parking situation was challenging. Only 9 or so spots and the tightest parking job I’ve ever had to squeeze into (needed another person to help direct me). We eventually found a spot in front of hotel (was free parking on that street in Aug).

I researched a lot before booking here and was very happy with the stay. The hotel was no frills, but very pleasant. Walking distance to many restaurants and 10 min taxi ride to palace. Rooms were small but very efficiently designed so there was enough space to put everything. Rooms and hotel were very clean and well maintained. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was reasonably priced and great start to day. Very nice staff. Would stay here again.
