The property is dated and the stairs are definitely a challenge with 4 levels to manage but the views are worth it. I felt that the property and the contents could have been cleaner . The apartment would really benefit with updating .

This property is all about location and view and it doesn't disappoint in that regard. Communication with the host was excellent with free wifi and somewhere secure to store my bike. All the attractions of Rouen are within a couple of minutes walk.

The free parking is a good 15 minutes walk away, there is paid street parking outside but it is very busy so it's a good idea to unload your baggage before heading to the car park. The host didn't provide bedding for the sofabed and single bed, which I understand is common in France. The photos on the advert must be for the whole block as some of the photos were not of the apartment we stayed in.

The apartment was very nice. It is in a cracking location. Right in the heart of town. Bob's burritos opposite was very good, restaurants and bars very close. The light show on the cathedral is excellent, and under 10 minutes walk away. The one bedroom was a good size with wardrobes too. The children slept in the living room one on a sofabed and one on the single bed located there.

this apartment is on the 3rd floor of a very old building with lots of spaces adapted into apartments (some available by the same landlord on here on the 4th floor) so LOTS of winding steps as no lift. Requires a deep spring clean to all those areas that don’t generally get cleaned regularly. Last minute instructions weren’t helpful on the day as couldn’t access them due to no phone on (due to the new international charging agreements making it too expensive)

location was fantastic. apartment was Ikea styled with everything that you needed to enjoy a comfortable stay.

Me and my wife travelled with another couple and we rented 2 apartments. The owner or manager of this property consider himself/herself in money making business, not in accommodation or service providing. Otherwise, he/she would consider investing very little to provide better accommodation. The property is in very bad condition. A lot of things broken, not working. Dirty towels. Dirty dishes. Toilet paper in washroom on the floor. In our toilet something leaked on the floor and I really home it was just a water. By the way, our toilet was 2 steps down from floor level. Pictures in post are not matching real property. Apartments was on 4th floor no elevator. Which means, for people with not perfect health is a trap. Even for people with perfect health, dragging suitcases 4 floors would be quite challenging. When reading property description, I would really want to know this. And the cherry on top - sharp smell of insects poisons. Probably somebody complained about insects before. Bottom line, unless you young, backpacking and don't really care where to crash for the night, this property is not for you. To make sure this is not just words, I attached pictures to compare with posting.

The location of this property is very good. Right in the center. Close to all important places in Rouen. Very nice view from windows

Dirty, towels were threadbare and dirty and no hand towels or bath mat provided. No hair dryer. cups and spoons dirty, no detergent for dishes, no laundry detergent even though a washing machine was provided. No clothes rack to dry washing, no window coverings on some windows,

Place is very old. Rooms needs bit of renovation work. We found torn curtains, scratched walls. Electricity had gone in one apartment when we switched on an appliance in kitchen. We didn’t get any help.

Our room did not have a functioning washing machine which isn’t the end of the world but it would have been nice to know before we threw a bunch of laundry in.

The location was spectacular. Parking was available just down the street and it was an easy walk to most anything. We loved the skylight windows on the top floor, especially after dark…beautiful view of the church steeples and the moon.

We stayed for 2 nights, with 3 young kids and it was great. The place location is superb! right in the middle of everything so you don't need a car. There's also a free parking 12min away. The place is big, in the 3rd floor (only steps) and has everything you need - dishwasher, washing machine and full kitchen. The beds are good. The view from the windows is also very nice. The host was very welcoming, and the checkin was easy.

Where to start!! From the front door and up the stairs straight into the flat was in a very bad state. So bad and disgusting that i didn't want my kids to even touch the banister. The stairs have missing tiles and very dangerous. Once you enter the flat!!! OMG!!! The walls are all stained and disgusting to look at, the fridge and freezers where dirty, the oven !!! Lets not go there... but lets say mould was on the bottom shelf. The floor was filty, the sofa bed had pillows that stink. The table had paint coming off... shocking! Felt like somone was living in it and had just left without the place being clean. In other words the only good thing was it had hot water and im glad we were only there for one night. All this is backed by images i took with my phone. Images on this site are not even close to the real thing.

I liked the location very much as its in central old town.

Simply needs to be renovated and all the furnitures changed. Many things are broken, dirty and/or unusable. Starting from the building entrance the stairs seem to be under construction or bombed! I’m the house…the bathroom is awful, washing machine old like the building (took hours to complete a wash, with poor results), second bed dusty and uncomfortable, dust everywhere, sockets out of the walls, door handle broken, stained towels, no curtain to the windows in the second bed room (so at 6am is like sleeping in the open air), I could keep going for hours… This is the first time I write such a review… I often closed an eye when something was wrong… but this time I feel outraged. Booking.com should not accept such situation and should provide a prompt reimbursement!

Literally Nothing. you neither know where you will stay because the picture of the rooms are related to more than one apt, but you don’t know till the end which one is yours…
