A lot of work in progress. All ground floor rooms being redone, plus reception and restaurant. Once finished it should be good. Perhaps by end May? Under the circumstances the staff were doing a good job.

Some of the breakfast items took a long time to replace, there was no juice for example.

The hotel was very busy and I believe they had had some difficulties, we arrived at check in to lots of people complaining. They seemed to be short staffed but everyone was pleasant and doing the best they could.

The heat in rooms. No air con.

Communal areas were light and airy. Swimming pool was fine. Hotel rooms were dated, double beds were shaped weirdly with a big camber in middle and only one pillow. Heat inside rooms was unbearable- lack of air conditioning, the system they have in place is antiquated and useless.

As you walk in, posters remind you of the metamorphosis this place is about to go through. Next year, it’ll be smarter, more comfortable, with plenty of jazz hands. It’ll shed its corporate reception desk, its exhausted look and feel, the TV that won’t turn on and the old school shower. I hope the forest view we could see from our window will remain. The gate to it suggests meditative walks. But we opted for a nearby restaurant after making the most of the swimming pool.

The swimming pool is not heated and is an outdoor swimming pool. The room is basic for a Novotel hotel, old TV, safa bed was not comfortable.

My only very small cristism would be that the rooms get hot, and the sofa beds are very thin and springy so not the most comfortable, but I still think it is great value for money

Great overnight stop on our journey from Calais to Dordogne. Booked a family room for our family of 4 and 2 dogs and it was a great size for us. Great value for money if you just want somewhere to lay your head overnight. Bonus was Tesla supercharger in the carpark, which was a complete surprise

Definitely - hotel was overpriced for this quality of facilities (it seems they are from 1985-1990). Another issue - location (near exhibition centers and far from the city center). Room was really so so...

It can use a proper cleaning and some renovation. The shower was outdated with a shower curtain. The toilet was also outdated.

We used the hotel for a stop during our drive from Bretagne to home. It was really sufficiënt for that. The pool, table tennis, table football and little playground were perfect for the kids to blow off some steam. The staff was so nice and friendly, it really stood out.

The hotel is very old, rooms are not well maintained and also not the cleanest.

Good place to stay overnight in case of long commute. Family friendly, value for money, decent quality and doable for one night. Staff is super.

The room was so dated. We’ve stayed in a few Novotels and this one was super old. The rooms looked nothing like the photo. It was clean and fine for the night. Bathroom and shower not great!

Very crowded dining room for dinner. Staff were amazing dealing with a lot of people but could have done with more staff.

Enjoyed the swimming pool and relaxing the grounds surrounded by trees. The room was cool and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent
