The only thing we missed was a drying rack for our beach stuff - but besides that, there is nothing you cannot like about this place!

New, stylish house; room was very nice with own terrace to relax. Very quiet surroundings, perfect to relax and explore the region. We rented the bikes at Salty Woods Lodge and used the many great bike routes to explore the regions. You can also easily walk to one of the villages for dinner. Two beaches can also be reached by foot which we liked a lot. Breakfast was very good and a lot. We especially liked that it was vegetarian with vegan options. The vegan option varies from day to day and is preparded with so much love and detail that you want to take a photo of it! One of the very few places in South West France where we could get non-dairy milk for coffee/muesli! The hosts are very friendly, love to connect with their guests and provided lots of useful information on restaurants and activities and also did reservations for us for a surfing class. It was THE perfect stay!

It doesn't get much better than Salty Woods Lodge! Everything is made with so much love and eye for detail. Lynn and Kristof not only treat you as guets, but make you feel at home at the Lodge. The B&B is close to the beach as well as the cute town of Vieux-Bouceau-les-Bains; it even has bicycles that you can use to get around. Oh and the homemade breakfast is simply outstanding, you don't want to miss it! We can recommend everyone to stay here and will definitely be back soon :)

Excellent relaxing ambient for sunbathing, coffee or refreshing at the pool. Very clean. Charming and helpful hosts. After going through lots of trouble in the beginning, they helped us to organise a taxi, later some cars (which were extremely hard to get, extremely expensive during that time, and specially reserved for the citizens in France) and spontaneously a surf lesson. Bikes and washing our clothes, both there were for free. Additionally to the usual breakfast, you get a special handmade plate and a smoothie every morning. The choice was very healthy and also pleasant to vegans. The only small matter they hadn't was a personal fridge. For that reason, they plan to achieve a big one with individual boxes for every visitor.

Warm welcoming. Lynn and Kristofer are great hosts. Beautiful place with great nature and beaches surrounding it. We hired their bikes and got a good impression of the area. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. We highly recommend this place.

Everything was perfect.

Superb and quiet location secluded from bustling tourism. Very personal reception and accommodation by owners. Excellent breakfast buffet with many local products. Most of them are vegan. Juice cocktail and special breakfast highlight are prepared by owner each morning. Entire property is well designed and interior perfectly balanced. Without doubt the best location you can choose if you like personal relationship to owners and guests.

Thank you, Lynn and Christoph for creating this incredible place! The Salty Wood Lodge is a lovely and cozy place. Everything is made with passion and love and we felt very welcome by these two beautiful souls. They helped out with everything: restaurants, surfboard rental, tips and made every wish come true. Lynn and Christoph are super friendly, authentic and caring, interested and very open-minded. The breakfast is wonderful, vegetarian with vegan options, fresh made juices and a lot of variety and quality, every day a delicious homemade special. So tasty! The rooms have a terrace and the interior is completely new, very modern, cozy and more than clean with an awesome bed. The garden is a great place to relax, with a really nice wooden terrace and on top the heated saltwater pool surrounded by trees. So this is the perfect place to calm down and a secret tip for all silence lovers. But you are also very close to the best surf spots and to the surrounded villages (Souston, Vieux Boucau, Hossegor, Seignosse) and only one hour to Biarritz, so its perfectly located to have a trip through the south of france. This is really an incredible place, we recommend it so much and we will definitely come back!

In the summer of 2021 I was the very first client of the Saltly Woods Lodge in Soustons, 'number one'. What a place! The B&B is quietly located in a very nice area. The beach is nearby and the best surf spots in Europe are just a stone's throw away. Lynn and Kristof welcomed me generously in their spacious villa, it is immediately noticeable that they have finished the project down to the last detail with the right eye for architecture and materials. Chapeau! The balance between privacy in and around your room, on the terrace and the beautifully decorated garden under the typical pine trees and the communal living areas gave me peace of mind. The room was beautifully decorated, the artworks were carefully chosen. The pool is refreshing and a nice touch is that the water is ‘salty’. The breakfast was delicious. Kristof's pancakes are already legendary! A bientôt!
