Their design of toilet/shower/sink. It was weird but OK.

Everything about the place, from the moment you step a foot inside the property, you get the feeling that you are in a small private castle. The windows have a small lake view and see the entire "city/village". Food at the restaurant is good but it is a fine dinning, so it should be considered before booking.

Paper cups in the rooms for tea/coffee. What a shame you have a lovely property and restaurant yet you don’t provide china cups?!

Loved the property and room in particular the size of the room in the loft. The breakfast offered was good quality.

That we couldn’t check in after 9pm. Instant coffee in the room. The town isn’t worth the visit, but we were on a road trip to château-neuf-du-pape and this hotel is perfect

We stayed for one night and the room was very comfortable. It was very hot weather when we were there and the air conditioning was a godsend. We didn’t have dinner as it’s a 5 course, but as the breakfast was outstanding I would think dinner would be as good. Plenty of parking and the terrace / garden is very nice to sit out in or have a wander

Nothing to not like. It was beautiful and I hope to visit again. A pool would be the cherry on top.

Beautiful, stunning grounds. Lovely, friendly staff. Free parking. Fresh produce in house. A piglet was even being walked in the morning. Delightful! Gorgeous scenic views.

The room was on 2nd floor up 2 flights of steep steps so heavy luggage and no elevator was a problem, so pack light. The head waiter for the dining room was rude and arrogant unlike the rest of the staff who were great.

The building grounds and room were fantastic, continental breakfast was superb beautiful quality foods and great variety.

We arrived in the dark, it took us a minute to figure out how to get in from the street. Turns out the main gate is left closed because it is on a roundabout, and so they created a very nice "side entrance" about 60 meters down the street. It all made sense in the daylight!

The converted country estate was charming, beautiful, regal, and tastefully remodeled. So much care and thought went into the design and execution of the hotel. The breakfast was a very high-quality version of a standard European breakfast- we were so impressed.

Rooms a bit basic with need of repair and we did not like the lack of private bathroom, lack of tea/coffee in room, lack of any wardrobe/storage. Jus too minimalist. Restaurant also needs cheaper options for travelling stopovers.

Amazing restaurant for fine dining. Cheapest meal was 7 course tasting menu but it was excellent and actually very good value for money compared to what you would pay in a top city restaurant and every bit as good if not better.
