I was there the second time now within 4 months. As mentioned above, the logistics are quite convenient but even tough the street seems to be off the main roads, it is very busy and noisy outside all day long with cleaning cars early morning and screeming people at night.

A good place to start discovering the city as is only two metro stations inbetween the train station and the city center. 200 meters to walk to the metro. Restaurants/bars nearby as well. Bustling neighbourhood. Rooms are rather small but equipped with everything one needs for a few days.

Street of location is not the best. Tends to be noisy and busy. Though 5 minutes walk in any direction does feel like you are in a much better area. Shower and bathroom facilities could do with some upkeep.

In the corridors areas there was a very strong smell of cooking and they were noisy.

The accommodation was in a colourful location but there were no problems. Location links were good. Room was a studio apartment with fridge. Breakfast was limited but good value.

No matter how the owners try to maintain the condition of the room as new, alas, it is noticeable that this is far from the case. New furniture in the kitchen does not replace the old one in the bathroom, which is also small. Also, very strange, I only had two sockets for the entire large room, and in order to turn on the kettle, each time I had to sacrifice either a phone charger or a fan. Moreover, I repeat, for unknown reasons, neither shower gels, shampoos, nor tea and coffee were updated.

The location of the hotel is excellent, almost in the very heart of Lyon, just a 20-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient at any time. If you check in late, you have the option to pick up the key in a special safe at any time. Also, coffee, tea, and cookies were a nice bonus. However, I stopped for a few days and expected it to update every day, but for some reason, this did not happen in 4 days. The service at the hotel was very pleasant and responded quickly enough to the application.

The place was rather shabby with poor ventilation, making the room intensely stuffy. The bathroom was relatively clean but very smelly. The walls are a tether thin, so you can hear your neighbors quite a bit. The balcony’s are deprecated by an easily climbable barrier, which makes one feel the need to shut the outer blinds for the night, which on one hand makes the room inevitably more stuff but on the other makes one feel more separated from their neighbors at night.

The location is relatively central making it an easy walk to most destinations. The bed was comfortable and for a slight temperature control a fan was provided. Our room faced the inner court yard which helped with not having too much noise coming from street at night. Additionally the Wifi was actually very quick and the working area in the room was quite nice in case of you traveling for remote work.

The room was pretty old and a little bit dirty, with foot stamps on walls and ceiling, bathroom pipes were dusty and the shower did not look to be at its best. Besides all, the price/quality ratio was fair.

The room was badly smelling cigarette smoke. The tableware was all greasy, without any sponge nor dish soap to clean it up. Warning: the neighborhood is creepy and you will feel insecure if your are not used to drug dealing urban area. Avoid getting on and off the tramway at the "Guillotière" stop at all cost, prefer taking the subway at the "Saxe-Gambetta" stop.

Room is as expected, with 2 single beds, a small desk, a table and a small kitchen.

On the second morning of our stay from 9am on workers started to build up furniture and stuff in the room just next to us. There was a really loud sound of knocking and drilling just next to our head. They told us, they will work like that the whole day and the next 2 days as well. Hotel didn't tell us anything about it, so we went down to complain and had to argue with the reception to get another room.

Air conditioning but this is expensive and Lyon was experiencing a heat wave which was unusual for time of year.

The location is very central and metro is only a five minute walk from the hotel. Despite the hotel being in a side street it was only a minute's walk to a main road. The area was a little run down but I felt safe at all times. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room unfortunately does not have air conditioning but fans are provided. I did not experience any noise from other guests in adjoining rooms so overall this hotel is good value for money. There are two supermarkets within five minutes walk of this hotel.

Some of the kitchen equipment is a little old, like the cooker and microwave oven that were hard to get to work. The 2 single beds were quite narrow and put side by side like for a double bed, so not allowing much space to move if you want single beds. Also we left the window open at night and there were a lot of mosquitos.

The location is very good, just a 10-minute walk to the centre. The room has a comfortable bathroom and a small but convenient kitchen corner with fridge, cooking pans, plates etc. There was even a large balcony overlooking a quiet community space. We appreciated very much the possibility to park our car for 8Euros/day.

The property doesn’t look like on the pictures presented at all. Lots of cobwebs, windows were dirty. There is no aircon, a small fen helps but if you have widows open, it is pretty loud on the street.

Requested a twin room but got a double. Noisy neighbours either hammering or sawing early the monday morning.

Location was close to the city and comfortable room. Great appliances and lovely balcony.
