Let’s not worry if the internet is a little inconsistent, there’s the ocean just below your room providing a wonderfully relaxing soundscape.

This small, congenial hotel is exactly as its pictures indicate: wonderful views, pretty terraces, elegant art deco bar/restaurant, very comfortable, unusual rooms (I hate showers but mine was set in an imaginatively conceived cosy cave), excellent scrambled eggs for breakfast, free coffee available in the bar all day, and an easy walk to the nearest beach and the lively port. But it is the staff who make the place: charming, helpful, and efficient the whole team manages the perfect balance between doing a thoroughly professional job and making you feel like one of the family.

The fact that although we put out the "do not disturb"-sign the reception called us since they wanted to know when we would like to get the room cleaned. The rumor from the construction site on the street in front of the hotel. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault at all, but nevertheless it affected our need for a silent and calm short day.

Restaurant and bar close early ( we understand the reason why). Handheld shower head can’t adjust its height. Still using small disposable toiletries. Outdoor Parking space, Loading/unloading area in front of the hotel is tight.

Intimate, private, boutique style hotel. Ocean view is fabulous. Room design is smart and trendy. Staffs are friendly and knowledgeable.

All met or exceeded expectations. There really wasn't anything we didn't like.

Everything about Hotel Splendid was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the lobby was excellent. The hotel is perfectly situated on the water with a lovely outdoors area for lounging and is within easy walking distance to the best restaurants, bars and shops in Bandol.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Luna was very sweet! The hotel had everything we needed and more. Small things like the lockers with towels; makeup wipes in the room; plug sockets by the sun loungers; free paddle board and snorkels; were nice additional touches that just made it a 10/10 because of the thought that has gone into the hotel for the guests. The sea view from our bedroom was amazing. The breakfast was great, best one from our two week road trip. 100% would recommend to others.

Terrific small hotel. Great location, town down the street and excellent walking paths along the water in both directions. The Splendid Hotel has beautifully appointed decore. The breakfast area, deck, and indoor pool are perfectly set. Staff great, and Bondol a really fun town. Don’t miss this one if you like boutique hotels that water views.

Price was a little steep but this is the Côte D’Azure Meals in Bandol town were poor and very expensive but this is not the hotels fault.

The location was amazing with sea view. Breakfast was absolutely knock out. Fresh eggs cooked anyway to order. Variety of breads and pastry were excellent too. The cleanliness and hygiene was second to none. The staff were professional and Max was very helpful in fetching us from the train station. Complimentary soft drinks and water in the fridge. Complimentary bottle of wine and nougat an extra treat. Complimentary hot drinks and cakes in dining room each day. Tea and coffee in room also.

Beautiful newly modernised room overlooking the sea. Breakfast on the terrace was just perfect - lovely produce and a perfect selection. The staff there are charming and lovely. We were only sad that we were there for just one night but we will return

Spectacular location, overlooking the sea (could spit into it from our balcony). The sound at night was an aquatic symphony. Room was a bit tight (to make room for all of the windows overlooking the sea),but it just did not matter. Staff were consistently wonderful, knowledgeable, and effective. Breakfast was wonderful, all we could have wished for. Thinking back, Hotel Splendid just puts a smile on our face. It was, indeed, splendid.

Car park access was a little narrow if you have a larger car - but as I said they will help you park.

The staff were very friendly and genuinely helpful. They were relaxed and were informal in a good way. For example, the smallish receptionist insisted in carrying the suitcases from the car-park. The car park access was narrow - but they were happy to park and retrieve the car for you when you wanted - without any fuss or bother. The sea views were amazing - and the family room was really large with 3 separate rooms. Good Air-con in each of the rooms.
