Easy parking. 15mins to Centre Ville. Our bedroom and Bathroom were very clean and a good size. Madam was very knowledgeable about the history of Cognac. We had a lovely meal cooked by her husband. Very quiet situation.

Rooms spacious and lovely decorated, beds comfortable. Evening meals are highly recommended and served in a distinctive setting. All meals are freshly prepared with local products. Terrace on the roof with own kitchen for guests. Lots of useful information and suggestions what to see and discover in the region. Free parking in the street, very quiet.

The hosts were excellent and made us feel very welcome. There is so much to do in cognac I wish we could have stayed longer. The city is very compact which makes it very easy to get around without having to use a car.

An enchanting and unexpected gem in a quiet street of this engaging little town. Our hosts, Evelyn and Pascale were warm and welcoming - Evelyn provided us with some fascinating and helpful knowledge about Cognac, and Pascale cooked us a delicious Vegetarian meal. It was a pleasure to meet them and a lovely overnight stay.

Our hosts Evelyne and Pascale were kind, wonderful people! Evelyne shared her in-depth knowledge about the city of Cognac and showed us key sites on a city map for us to explore during the short time we were there. We enjoyed our conversations with them. We had booked a home-cooked dinner and Pascale made a gourmet meal with appetizer, main course, wine and desert. Evelyne introduced us to a cocktail using a local liquor. The accommodation was within walking distance of the city. It was clean and nice, with a good-sized modern private bathroom. Breakfast was very good.

Very friendly and helpful host. Gave us lots of tips for further in our journey. Getting a restaurant on a Sunday is difficult. The host also offers a menu in the evening,including wine or beer. You have to reserve this 2 days before arrival. Good breakfast with jam and fruit. Parking is on the street but this is not a problem.

Evelyn and Pasquale are the perfect hosts. We were travelling to a wedding near St Emilion and they let’s us hang our suits and bags in their garage, so they were safe. Our room and bathroom were lovely and spotlessly clean. There are a couple of other rooms and you have access to a lovely rooftop terrace and kitchen, so you have somewhere nice to relax if you don’t want to go out. The breakfast was really lovely made with local produce. We loved Cognac and Evelyn and Pasquale and would go back to stay in a heartbeat. it’s about a twenty minute walk into town. On the way check out the Indigo Bar at the Martell factory, it’s rooftop terrace gives fabulous views of Cognac. The Garage is well worth a visit too, it’s very lively serving simple food. It was all wonderful.

This is a place where your every comfort is considered and taken care of, by warm and friendly hosts who have expert knowledge of the area and Cognac. Beautiful room and en suite complemented by a lovely terrace garden and kitchen area for you to use. This has sun and shade and is excellent for relaxing after a day of exploration. Delicious breakfast. Perfectly located for the train station and a short walk to the lovely old town and its attractions. Cognac is also a very good base from which to visit the breathtaking Charente countryside which you should not miss!

The gite is close to the old centre of town. The hosts go out of their way to make their guests comfortable and feel welcome. The breakfast is delicious. The hostess, Evelyn, is very knowledgeable about Cognac, its history, and what is there to see. Although this was not our first time in Cognac, we learned a lot from her. We will be back.

Everything was perfect

This is such a find. A really beautifully original place to stay with fabulous quirks and individualism. A really comfortable bedroom, a lovely garden to sit in and the breakfast was so thoughtful and delicious. Pascal and Evelyne are such lovely people and were so helpful with advice on where to go in Cognac. This has to be one of the nicest chambre de hotes we have ever stayed in.

The only word that comes to mind is exceptional. Evelyne and Pascal are super hosts and ambassadors for Cognac and the region. From the attention to details in the room to the local breakfast items , recommending things to do and showing us Cognac, then lastly, enjoying a meal together; it was beyond our greatest expectations.

The room is super cozy and very beautiful, planned to small details so you feel like at home, the host lady is extremely nice and helpful. She gave us very useful tips for the restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, very refreshing a prepared with love.

Evelyne & Pascal were such wormhearted hosts. They looked after me like mom and dad. It was very easy to feel like home. The breakfast was made with love from local products. Pascal cooked one evening a French meal which was very dedicious. It is well located and very quite. Within walking distance yo can get to the center of Cognac where you can finde lovely Restaurands and bars. Or spend an evening on the roof terrace. I can warmly recomend to stay with Evelyn & Pascal.

l could not fault a thing, also we had no problem parking.

Everything was great, from the warm welcome from our lovely hostess who was so friendly and helpful. To the comfortable bed, great shower with lots of fluffy towel. We were on a road trip and sadly only used it as a stop over, that was our mistake! Should have booked longer to see more of Cognac and enjoyed more of this lovely accommodation. With it's outdoor rooftop garden/terrace were we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, hopefully there will be a next time.

Very spacious and comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Charming terrace and kitchen. Excellent breakfast with local products. Very quiet location next to the centre of Cognac. But most importantly, a very kind and accommodating host with good English skills, who told us a lot about the history of the town, recommended places to visit and the best restaurants. We felt very welcome in this accommodation - we have great memories of it.
