    Communication with the host was impossible and awful. A week before my planned arrival I sent her a message on booking asking for some details (for example if there was a place to park a bicycle). I never got an answer. As she had published her phone number on booking, I wrote her a message via What's App - no answer either. Unfortunately the day of my arrival would have been on 15 March, the day of massive strikes in France. I was going to spend 7 days in Mont de Marsan with a group of exchange students from Germany at our partner school in Mont de Marsan. Our train from Paris was cancelled two days before the trip and there was no way we could get to Mont de Marsan for that week. I wrote several messages to the host explaining the situation and asking her politely if I could postpone my stay at the appartment to a later date or if she could charge less as I wouldn't be able to get to France. I did not even get an answer, not a single word. Of course it's her legal right to charge the full price for seven days. But given the extraordinary situation of a general strike in the country, it would have been fair to offer changing the dates. Or at least write a short answer. Not answering at all is very weird to me. Our exchange visit at the local college will take place 4 weeks later now. Of course I will NOT book this place again. Parents of local school children don't understand such lack of comprehension either and will have to pay. I have just received a message via booking in which the host asks me if I had a pleasant stay at her place and if I have any suggestions for improvement. That's a slap in the face. The room is probably great, but before you book it, be aware of the fact that the host does not want any communication with customers at all and is by no means helpful. It's a pity. I hope for her that in the future she will meet warm and understanding people and learn from them.

    Very good location, central. Seems to be a nice, comfortable flat.
