Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyHowever, I must unfortunately say that I was disappointed with the condition of the bathrooms. They were dirty, and the floor was constantly flooded with water, leading to moldy showers. The hygiene conditions were unacceptable, and the bathroom was practically unusable. I unfortunately felt reminded of places I've seen in the poorest neighborhoods of Africa. Furthermore, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, which is another lack of basic hygiene. Considering these circumstances, I cannot give a positive review for Hotel Sylvabelle
As a guest at Hotel Sylvabelle, I'd like to share my experience. The location of the hotel was superbly central, which was a huge plus for me. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable.

The bed was comfortable, except for the fact that the materass was wrapped (under the sheets) in plastic. The position it is only five minutes walking to the main port.

MaltaNo locker rooms are available in the hostel premises to keep your staff safe, otherwise, you need carry-on them with you. I slept on a bunk bed that shakes up with every movement, it was not a static one and the bed's frame seems a lousy quality. You will not be able to lock up the toilet and shower doors in the male dormitory while doing what is needed to do. besides, there was not any toilet paper available or given. There is no shower handle to take your shower properly, while my stay from June 9th to June 13th, the shower hose is handle-less which is terrible to take a shower with. The shower room is tiny and comes with a thick layer of grout on the white tile edges, in addition to that, the shower curtain system is completely broken and needs an urgent replacement.
The staff ( front receptionists) were very helpful and friendly, they will offer you to keep your valuable belongings if you wish. I came to check in at 23:45 and they were available. The living room is pretty wide and you can enjoy watching French TV if you desire

There were no curtains and no way to stop the light from the street - we had to ask for towels as there were none in the room and there was not even toilet paper - we asked for it and they gave us one almost finished for 3 people.
