Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Pool and the bar team (especially the cool experimental cocktails we got)! It made the trip great as normally hotel bars are bit boring but this was amazing!!

United KingdomMattress was a bit firm for us.
We loved the location, 7 mins to nearest metro station, 2 mins nearest bar. The young vibe, free swimming pool, pool table, cinema, ping pong. Breakfast was excellent, and a good selection of continental breakfast food. Staff were really helpful and friendly.Rooms were very clean. The hotel is in a quiet location next to the University.

NetherlandsI wasn't aware it is a student oriented hotel. No problem with that because it is a great place, but next time I will look for something else.
Hotel has a swimming pool on the rooftop. Very nice!

United KingdomAs written in other reviews this is mostly a student residence and most of the guests are young. At night the pool area was closed. It feels a little awkward being over 60 here although everyone is very friendly and helpful.
The location is very good and only a short walk from the city centre which was well lit and felt safe at night. The hotel is new, clean and well kept. The bed is very comfortable with lovely bedding and lots of plugs. The sun terrace on the roof had plenty of seats and a very small pool.

IrelandMy only complaint would be there that are no locks on the door of your room. As a solo traveler I found this very uncomfortable and it made me nervous my whole stay. The door has a card key to open and once inside it just shuts behind you with no other lock for security.
Very clean, modern and great location. Staff were lovely.

SwitzerlandI think the hotel could have communicated better by informing me I could do a self check-in, when I arrived, there many people milling around and I could not tell who was staff or not and when I eventually did, I was brushed off as the person was on a call. Not a great welcome. Also, it seems there were not enough restaurant staff, they were slow in acknowledging my presence even though the place was barely occupied, slow in taking orders, missed orders, in fact, while I was waiting for my food, a couple had been waiting for over an hour for their order! The next morning, I ordered a simple latte and it took quite a while to prepare even though there was no queue and about 3 staff on hand, it appeared only one of them knew how to prepare a latte. I didnt attempt to use the restaurant again during my stay.
The size of the room was adequate, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel location was also great as I could walk to the city centre easily. Generally, great ambience in the hotel.

FranceThe food at the restaurant was underwhelming, the service very slow (1.30 h for one course lunch with no other eaters in sight) - I had to get up and ask to take our coffee orders, then - again - to remind that one coffee was forgotten. I do not take away the points for the hotel though and will stay there again - will eat elsewhere though.
It is an amazing place, very close to the Japanese park and the centre. Very stylish and comfortable.

United KingdomThe lighting system in the room is confusing to start with and the WiFi took a day to log us in. It was not particularly fast. Couldn't get the safe to work and at night the air con kept turning off and we couldn't work out how to turn it back on..very sporadic.
We really enjoyed the facilities at the hotel. There are tonnes of places to sit and relax in the hotel, including a TV room. There is a PS5, pool table and ping pong table to play on, along with a good gym and rooftop pool area. It is not too far from the metro, a 5 minute walk. Good facilities including fridge, hob and microwave in the room.
