I don’t know why but i heard along my stay different noises from the street, I suppose. Also a big minus is that you heard if your neighbor is doing a shower

I recommend this hotel if you are planing your trip to Paris on budget. The room was clean but small, the bathroom was surprisingly clean and the breakfast was not great, not bad.

The Hotel is being renovated but this fact was not mentioned on the booking.com website. Therefor no breakfast facility was available.

The bathroom was not very clean. With such a small room, I would expect cleaner accommodations. There were several hairs on the floor from other people.

The rooms are really clean and comfy, but the entrance and foyer need a bit of TLC. It looks quite shabby from the outside and the foyer has seen better days. This in no way detracts from the friendly welcome, but it wouldn't cost much to give it a lick of paint.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. I came back because of the friendliness of the reception staff, the comfy bed, good shower and perfect location for me. However, the second time, it was the Fete de la Musique (when all hell breaks loose in Paris.) It wasn't such a great night because of unbearable noise. Also the price had almost doubled because of the Fete.

As we walked into our room, we immediately could smell cigarette smoke. The front desk was alerted but did nothing to remedy the problem. I didn’t ask to change room because I don’t think they had another room for 3 people. The rooms for 2 people were very very small. You’ll find shampoo and body wash in the shower but no conditioner and no wash cloths either. I asked for conditioner from the front desk and they didn’t carry any. They had a shoe polish sponge among their amenities though. Who polishes their shoes nowadays? The bathroom supplies felt more geared towards business men than women’s needs to me. There was a hairdryer however.

The location was great and near the subway. The staff was friendly and the property was overall clean.

When we were there, AC was not working. It vecame very difficult to sleep. Hotel solved the problem after two days.

air conditioning did not work the first night and it was very uncomfortable. Hot and no air moving. got fixed and worked great on days two and three.

location to the canal, parks, metro, etc. lots of nearby restaurants. also was just around the block from where our family had an apartment.
