Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyTemporary issues associated with repair work
The hotel is under construction so there were some inconveniences about this but the staff was super nice and solved every issue promptly. Everything in the room was super clean and new. The breakfast was tasty. There are two metro stations one minute from the hotel - the location is great.

IrelandNothing to think of.
Great value hotel close with excellent travel links that will bring you to all the tourist sites in Paris. Rooms are a little on the small side but we found them to be clean and cosy. Staff we also very friendly and helpful with any queries we had. The breakfast was also included in the price , and it was a buffet breakfast with plenty of choices in there selection of foods.

United KingdomI didn’t like no decoration in the room very plain nothing cosy it serves only the purpose which is sleep and shower. Outside entry looks very uninviting and grey . I think works are being done though. So it might change but it’s been like this for years now . Not enough sugar for coffees I had to keep asking for it . The pillows are very hard . No mini fridge. Curtain looks like its coming off. The rooms don’t look as cute as on the photos .
Very good location easy to go anywhere everything is around. Room size is ok bathroom ok shower has good pressure. Bed was comfortable. Room was fairly quiet. It has tv , kettle , hair dryer. It has a safe too. So pretty much everything you need . Two tube stations very close by and Nation is a short walk from where you can go anywhere. Many bakeries shops and brasseries around.

United KingdomWe had a nice quiet room which was clean and up to standard. The staff are really lovely. The hotel is on a street which we knew well when we lived in Paris many years ago. Note that the 20th district is not on the main tourist track but we love it.

SerbiaBathtubs are dangerous and gross. They are so small that I was able to fit in by bending my head all the time when I was inside. The bottom part of the tub is raised from the ground 20-30cm my mother fall down when she was exiting one thank god that she didn't get hurt (77 years old lady). Please replace those with new ones and extend them a bit since people like me can't fit.

PolandThey didn’t have electricity plugs in good places, or many of them.
The location was amazing, there was a bakery near by that was really delicious, some restaurants and a Pharamacy within walking distance. it also had many metro lines close by so we were not close to anything touristic but we can reach them all easily, even Disneyland. Also, the area itself was good.

IrelandThe step up into the shower was high n very dangerous when exiting the shower but the biggest issue was the lift. It was so noisy that it disturbed our sleep on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed at the Timhotel, please oil the lift we might return then ;) The Lift, the high shower, the t.v stuck to the table were a no, no. At first I thought the room was very small but it was reflection that the furniture is badly arranged. I feel if the wardrobes could be moved I would have rearranged the furniture and made it so much more spacious...oh and put the T.V up on the wall or remove altogether. Anyone who visits Paris should not be looking at T.V. It's too beautiful a city to miss
Staff were lovely and tried to help us with any issues. The heating was not on in the room and when we asked it was being controlled from reception? I didn't like that I even had to call down and ask for it to be switched off when it got too warm. We had a great time and will definitely return as location to Paris and metro is 100%, bars and restaurants in immediate area very cheap and fab food. The neighborhood felt safe and secure and very welcoming. Fab bakery/patisserie right next door to hotel

Francewe could hear a little bit of the noise from the road and also from the bedroom upstairs, but nothing too annoying or that would stop us from sleeping
We were greeted by a lovely gentleman called Rachid that made the check-in process really easy and was very accommodating as we had an early check in and wanted to depose our bags and freely visit the city. The hotel has a very nice location in a calm neighborhood near the metro line and bus stops. Room was confortable and big enough to sleep in. Minimum accomodations for a weekend stay. Will definitly come-back when in Paris
