The spa could be improved -there was only a tiny sauna and swimming pool. The restaurant menu was very limited -no potato/sweet potato fries -who wants to eat chickpea fries served with a steak?!

Occasionally there were not enough staff and they seemed to go “missing”. Reception area was often deserted as was early morning breakfast. The pool bar staff were great but sometimes had way too much to do for one person and could have done with additional help.

The beach party and level of the music on the weekends is appalling. Completely goes against the atmosphere of the grounds. The location is sophisticated and quite expensive but the “beach party” attracts much younger clientele whom I’m assuming don’t stay at the location. When I’d come home from dinner, turndown service must leave the door open while they work, because I would have to ‘relocate’ approx 12-15 months nightly and go on a mozzie killing spree. But I would be very careful to keep the door closed in the day. The food was below par especially in a country that is known for amazing food. Breakfast, aside from the incredible croissants, was almost non existent.

Beautiful rooms and grounds! Stunning. Designed really well. The beds were small but very comfortable. I slept really well which is saying a lot since I’m a true insomniac. My room was very spacious and had a mini kitchen which was a nice unexpected surprise. Beautiful pool. Very quiet at night.

Beautiful vineyard 40 minutes away from Saint Tropez. We loved the interior design, pool and the views. If most of your activities are in Saint Tropez it is quite a drive though and you will definitely need a car to get around! All and all a beautiful and peaceful place!

Breakfast very good, but the salted side was very inexistant. No eggs or bacon offered in the price of the breakfast Pool very cold. Every saturday pool parties are organised with external customers...can be cool....but it's very "contradictory" regarding the hotel. This hotel is in middle of nowhere, really calm, perfect for relaxing, so, big party very noisy is a bit strange for this charming hotel. Regarding the price of the hotel, is a pity that we have to pay to use bikes.

Breakfast very good, croissants & pain au chocolat just the best I never ate. Location, staff, design & comfort of rooms. Design of the hotel. Food at the restaurant & pool very good.

1) I travelled with a friend and, upon arrival, there was one man at the reception - we were expected to carry our own luggage up and down the stairs, not even a hint of help, very rude. 2) The dinner was absolutely disgusting, to call it dog food would be an overstatement 3) The breakfast - understaffed (meaning there was no one there for at least 10 minutes in a row, and when staff would eventually show up they were completely uninterested in doing their job) - people were looking for plates and cutlery through the cupboards, trying to find a way to eat and we had to improvise with whatever plates of food were already emptied by other tourists, because the refill was also almost inexistent. Overall, a one star experience for 18euros/person

The only thing letting the property down was the food :( the food was expensive and not worth it, the food we had in St Tropez wasn’t much more money and the food was amazing. The food wouldn’t put me off staying here though as you do not need to eat there.

The property was beautiful the location is stunning and perfect for what we wanted. if you like hustle and bustle then you would need a car the nearest village is 10mins away with some lovely local shops and restaurants and St Tropez is about a 45min drive.

Not fully operational as I would have expected; no pool service any of the 3 days we were there, with some maintenance work going on. Slow restaurant service, but then again, friendly staff. Very basic breakfast for its price. I would have also expected a full spa (sauna or hammam, not just massages) and toilets by the pool.

Most of the staff seems young and in training; the door to our room was closed and the front desk agent had to call a supervisor to be able to unlock it. The restaurant attendant was kind, but chilled a red wine that we ordered too much, and we had to wait for it to get warmer in order to enjoy it. Finally, there wasn’t any hot plates option during breakfast, which was disappointing for a hotel of this category and price.

The property and the location are beautiful, particularly for people who would like to connect with nature and find some peaceful setting.

Finding the place was hard don’t use address in GPS it will get you at the wrong place. it is about 8km from La Garde-Freinet. search for Ultimate Provence on GPS. on the road look for the UP sign.

Pool staff, young and not all the time aware how to properly answer to hotel's guests.

Calm hotel in the middle of the wineyards. Possibility to taste/drink house wines. Very large pool where you can relax and enjoy live Dj session late in the afternoon. Good quality food in the restaurant. Free electric car charger if needed. Excellent reception staff, always trying to help and bringing up solutions to any problems. Gym room is not very large but enough to workout properly Kids friendly
