Room was very small, although beautifully decorated. The location was too far out of town and the neighbourhood undesirable.

Lovely accommodation, very quiet and secluded. Cleaned every day and breakfast food topped up every day. Bed new and very comfortable. Bathroom, especially shower, spacious.

historic villa about 3-4 km distance to the ancient town of Lyon. Perfect to travel by bicycle as the station is easy to reach. Quiet place shielded by a well protected garden.

There are only two things to point out. 1, addtion bed pillows would have been nice, the ones provided weren't firm enough, and I had to fold the pillow in half to create some comfort. 2, on two seperate morning's, we were woking up by someone slamming the front door, one time at 6:30am and the other at 7am. The door didn't need to be slammed so early in the morning, assuming it was another guest.

Beautiful place to stay. Not too far from the centre, plenty of public transport links.

The location was a bit too far from the center of town for walking routinely for us. Generally one would need to use a taxii or public transportation.

A nice private villa with a nice front patio. We never met our hostess, but she was very responsive and helpful via email. Price of the stay was reasonable.

The hotel is located away from the old town and main tourist attractions. It just meant either an Uber or a taxi ride for us because the metro was striking when we were there. This was the only hassle we had. Otherwise, perfect!

This is a small boutique hotel in a beautifully restored old building. The room is fabulous with a perfect combination of original features and modern decoration and convenience. The bathroom was great, with a large shower. Breakfast was delivered in a basket, and it was delicious. Although we did not meet the owner, they were very communicative and helpful. We had a fabulous dinner at the bistro across the road where the owners and locals were extremely friendly and welcoming! It was really enjoyable.

Location was a little far from city centre and closest metro but still easy to access with public transport.

Outstanding place in Lyon. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa 216, the property itself was gorgeous from the moment the gates opened and our room fulfilled our French dreams. The room was the highlight, beautiful interiors and the bed was so comfortable. Kitchenette was great to have and Netflix was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

We didn’t like the coffee in the room. It was a great coffee machine, but coffee beans were acidic in taste.

Bed was very comfortable! Room was clean. Villa is very well decorated. Rain shower was a great touch. We definitely recommend and would come again. Worth every penny!

The metro was quite a distance away

Beautiful grounds and building, wonderful kitchenette, friendly staff, allowed me to check in early, I didn’t want to leave the room it was so peaceful and comfortable.
