Michel and Christiane were wonderful hosts with great knowledge and tips for exploring Avignon. Villa Pauline is beautiful and we loved our daily swims in the pool, whatever the temperature! We felt lucky to have found this place and spent a few nights there.

There is nothing to dislike

Great place and great location with secure private parking.... Michel and Christiane are such a nice couple, they are lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble... The property is 10min walk to a free shuttle service to/from the city (this is a real bonus). Wish we had the time to stay longer.

The hosts really made our visit special, making us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped foot into their property. We especially loved the breakfast they made for us! Villa Pauline was one of the highlights of our trip!

Charming, eclectic decor, wonderful host. The room was spacious and pleasant. Bathroom also large and modern. I loved all the decorations. Michele cooked a great breakfast and looked after us so well. He recommended a great restaurant and helped us organise our sightseeing. Many thanks!

We didn’t have any issues with the property being a little outside town even with spending most of our time in town. There was a shuttle not far from the hotel and biking was easy. We had no trouble with Uber.

Our room was large and the pool was great. It was worth staying slightly farther out to have so much space compared to the hotels inside Avignon. We really appreciated Michel and Christiane’s recommendations on where to go around Avignon. Michel picked us up from the train station giving us a tour of Avignon and the next day dropped us off at a bike rental place. He really went above and beyond and made our trip even better!

We loved our stay at the beautiful home of Michel and Christiane. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable and decorated in eclectic style. Breakfast is delicious and the hosts very kind and welcoming. We used a nearby free car park and shuttle bus to get to and from the centre of Avignon.

Michel is a perfect host. He recommended an excellent restaurant and things to visit around the area. The breakfast was lovely, sitting on the terrace chatting with the other guests was wonderful. Michel's love of art was apparent throughout the villa with whacky additions to amuse.

Beautiful, impecably managed place and great value for money. The managers Christiane and Michel are among the nicest people I've ever had the chance of meeting during any holiday, going above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible The location is also perfect - just far enough from Avignon's center for some peace and quiet, yet close enough for easy access to the center whenever you wish to visit (so don't be put off by the fact it isn't central!) Could not recommend enough

The location is a bit further away from the old town, but that wouldn't deter me from staying again.

The accommodation is fabulous, very eclectic, large bedroom and very comfortable communal area. The main part was Michel the host, such a kind, lovely man, made us feel at home and so welcomed. Also gave fabulous recommendations for restaurants,😋.

What a fantastic find - although they have only been taking bookings for a couple of months, Michel and Christianne were the perfect hosts. Engaging and helpful - Michel even gave us a lift into town one day. A perfect oasis so close to wonderful Avignon - the pool was so good after a day of walking. And the artwork - brilliant! We will be back.

Two safety points. The stairs to the villa are wide and steep and need a rail. Especially important if you have older or disabled guests. is a sheer drop from the terrace to the swimming pool area . There is a palm tree which to some extent guards this but some type of artistic guard rail would be good

The hospitality and the help we received from Michel and and Christianne was incredible. For four glorious days we were immersed in their story, their incredible art in every room and the beautiful Villa and swimming pool. When the large driveway door slid back you entered a place of peace and tranquility. As we arrived Michel offered us a glass of homemade lemonade and not only booked a restaurant but first night took us there! Not so much a Maison d'hotes but a whole experience.

Villa Pauline is only a 15-20m walk from the historic centre of Avignon and yet one feels like in full nature. It’s a beautiful villa with a great pool and exterior to relax. The room was very spacious and elegantly decorated. Christian and Michel are fantastic hosts and they ensure you feel comfortable and you have everything to have a super pleasant stay. Highly recommend.
