We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomNothing about the hotel. My only suggestion would be for the hotel to change some of their restaurant and visitor recommendations. We went to a suggested restaurant and bar - both of which were disappointing and old fashioned. So much choice of new, fun, great quality restaurants in Bordeaux that would be better recommendations.
Excellent staff and very friendly check in experience. The room was well appointed with great attention to detail.

The staff was attentive and helpful. The décore is lovely with a mixture of contemporary among an ancient setting. The front desk even sent us tizaines to help us sleep when they heard that we had just arrived from the USA.

I decided to book here on a bit of a whim after booking somewhere else to stay for a night in Bordeaux, and I’m so glad I did ! Within 10 minutes of booking. I got a lovely phone call from the hotel, asking what time we would be arriving and to doublecheck if there was anything we needed parking etc . Upon arriving, we were offered refreshing warm towels after our journey, which were welcome. All staff were also incredibly welcoming and friendly. They were super helpful in helping us decide what to do in Bordeaux for the afternoon. We had booked a cozy mansard room, but we were upgraded to a lovely spacious comfortable room. The hotel itself is super central but on a quiet street , an oasis of calm but just a five minute walk from the commercial center of Bordeaux. Breakfast was copious and delicious and the spa and pool were lovely at the end of a long day. All in all fantastic hotel without fault and would stay here again when I’m in Bordeaux- thank you to staff also who are on hand if we needed anything, and super friendly !

Villas Foch is a fabulous boutique hotel in a great location...quiet, yet close to everything in Bordeaux. We walked to town, to the river and to Cite du Vin. Very accommodating staff and excellent service. The bar was well appointed and comfortable for our nightcaps. Breakfast was tremendous, but there are cafe's next door if it's just for coffee. Great base for exploring all the wineries of Bordeaux. Highly recommended
