Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel is extremely stylish and is centrally located being just a short stroll to the main areas of Bordeaux. We had a pre-dinner drink on the terrace. Beautifully presented and it was a very enjoyable environment to be in. Overall a lovely hotel and we would return if travelling to Bordeaux again.

The old structure/mansion was converted to sizeable rooms with contemporary furnishings and playful touches. The room was large and it felt luxurious. The staff was excellent!

United KingdomMy only criticism was the fact that wine, biscuits and crisps/crackers were left on the side in our room which we assumed were a good will gesture as this was different to the mini bar, yet we were charged €6 for a bag of crackers. This should have been explained to us and €6 is slightly excessive.
Amazing location, staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Facilities such as the steamer and the hairdryer were of great quality.

United StatesDespite being upgraded to the largest suite, it was located in an upper floor without any elevators which caused some challenges moving the large luggage up. The restaurant has limited space, compared to the number of rooms available. It’s a bit far from the City Center (sea side). Another thing I hope it gets resolved is the parking on-premises, we asked for a reserved parking spot during check-in for one day. It was accepted by the front desk staff, however, they had to park the car in another property. I was concerned that night because of a review I saw on TripAdvisor claiming one of the guest’s rental car was scratched. I was worried, but thankfully we received back our car in the same condition we left it.
Boutique hotel with amazing and friendly staff. We appreciated the connection they made with one of the vendors for taking a tour in the city. The suite we were upgraded to was great in terms of the area. Comfy beds and spacious bathroom which is rare in France!
