The accommodation was warmer than we’re used to, and one must contact reception to alter the thermostat.

A really convenient overnight self-catering stop, this studio was complete with a kitchenette and fridge, great for a Sunday night when everything tends to be shut. It adjoins some sheltered accommodation, so it’s best to be quiet out of consideration for other residents (not a problem for us). There was a lift to get our baggage up to the 2nd floor and all the staff were really nice. The beds were very comfortable. Parking was easy.

We stay here often and it never disappoints us....peaceful, comfortable, looking out on fields and a lovely park to walk in. The studios are spacious and spotlessly clean and a very reasonable price. An ideal stopover and a few minutes awsy from the centre of Moulins.

I was not aware that it was also an old people's home. The smell of canteen cooking was strong in the reception area. A lot of zimmer frames.

No problem with our stay, but it was very hot and the building has no air con and this can be a problem for renters and staff alike.

We stay here often on our way to and from our house in the Ardeche and our son and friends stayed here recently too on our recommendation.. We all think it's a great place to stay......comfortable, clean, quiet and the staff are slways charming. Good studio room as always with a balcony looking over fields. Have already booked for our return journey.

Good size studio flat, with balcony and a small but functional kitchen (two sites induction top, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle). The bathroom is big and equipped with a hairdryer. The apartment complex is in a quiet area. As per the description, some apartments are occupied by nice senior citizens. Our apartment was looking over the parking lot but as a base to visit Moulins and the nearby area it is perfect.

Nobody ever cleaned the flat we stayed in and it was not very well equipped : a brum and nothing else. No washing machine, only one night table ,with a single bad side light. Three sockets in total The two armchairs were very ,very dusty One of blinds was partly broken and it was necessary to push it up using hands and feet.

The "Hotel" appeared to be running primarily as a home for retired people who could also get medical help onsite. Guests like us and residents used the same facilities which all came as a surprise to us. It seems to work. Lots of surrounding grounds to walk in part of the grounds used by the public.

A large open plan room which included basic cooking facilities, I was able to produce a hot dinner for us. The room, bathroom and kitchenette was basic but clean and functional. The bed itself was a standard double, we are accustomed to Super-kingsize but not a problem. The weather was scorching hot probably in excess of 35 degs! If we had not travelled with our own fan we would have been extremely uncomfortable and most unhappy as the room did not have air-conditioning! We travel with our dog he was happy with the cooler tiled floor rather than carpet. The receptionist on duty when we checked out was immensely helpful to us sorting our next destination on the car starts-nav, even though she was rushed off her feet.

This place is like an old folks home with spare rooms. Very weird.... No problems, and plenty to recommended staying in a hospital/old folks home - like spacious corridors, lifts, cleanliness etc.

Not the fault of the hotel as I booked the location but it is a bit remote from the main town. That said, it was only the heat wave that stopped us walking the 2km to the main town.

Location was very quiet being in a residential estate. The building is partly used as an old people home which limits use of the reception area but the rooms are a very good size so we could all get into one room for an evenings chat / drink etc.

This accomodation delivers exactly what it says it will and there is nothing to criticise. It's why we have been staying here for a number of years and will keep going back!!

We have been staying here for a number of years on our way to and from the Ardeche region of France and always enjoy our stay....the studio apartments are quiet, clean and comfortable. We always know what to expect and we are never disappointed. Plenty of hot water for showers and the en suite bathrooms are spacious and clean. There is a small kitchen area with a table and chairs, a fridge and a couple of hotplates for cooking. There is always a sofa, TV, coffee table in the seating area plus a comfortable bed. There is a lovely woodland area immediately nearby to walk in....great if you've been travelling all day!!

The room had cigarette smell even if the no smoking sign was visible on the wall. The patio rollers were shut and not working, couldn't even lift it up to have more fresh air in the room and use the veranda as advertised on the website. The reception replied that the previous guest did not inform them about this upon check out(like it was the guest's responsibility to inform them) and their maintenance is off till Monday. The hotel was fully booked so no other room available.
