“We had the most wonderful weekend at the Cosy Alpine Cottage.
Julie, the host, informed us that the boiler wasn’t working ahead of the stay and gave us the option to either cancel or use an alternative bathroom in the main house. We decided to continue with the stay. But She went out of her way to organise a generous & very tasteful gift hamper and even allowed us a late check out as well. She more than made up for the boiler problem and we actually didn’t feel inconvenienced at all with the alternative bathroom arrangement.
The property is breathtakingly beautiful and there are charming details in every corner. We would highly recommend this place if you are visiting the Lake District or surrounding area.”
