“The location of the home is perfect - just around the corner from the train station.
The decor is unique and wonderfully quirky.
We stayed for two nights and the location and facilities were perfect for what we needed.
The sun shone and we were able to take full advantage of the outdoor seating area which was fabulous.”
“It was clean and comfortable. Still doing renovations as I don’t think have been there long. Our bedroom was lovely. Good in restaurant delicious and all the staff helpful and friendly. Would recommend.”
“The host's were lovely. The rooms were very clean. We had a lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. The position was central. The public car park is opposite is free from 6 pm till 8 am. We arrived at 3 pm. So put £2 in the meter That paid parking up till 6 o'clock. As long as you go back to the meter after 6 o'clock pm you can then pay for parking for the next day. We put another £ 3 in that then gave us parking till 11 am. So very reasonable..😊”
“I stayed for one evening in Church Stretton for a wedding, and I had a lovely stay at The Buck’s Head. The room was very spacious, with a large comfortable bed, table and chairs, TV and hot drinks facilities which was everything I needed. Good size bathroom completed what was a nice, vintage style room with exposed beams and rustic furnishings.
I parked my car in the car park opposite (Co-Op) where you can pay for the day, and is free on Sundays (at time of my stay). I could see the car from my window so wasn’t far to unload my suitcase.
I chose my breakfast items upon arrival, and the next morning, went down to breakfast where my selection was cooked up. There was a nice selection of cereals, yogurts and pastries to enjoy also, but the cooked breakfast was delicious.
Sarah was a wonderful host running a lovely pub, and I’d certainly recommend this Inn to anyone thinking of staying a few nights in Church Stretton.”
“It was like home from home. Everything you need. Cake on the table and beer and milk in the fridge. Ice blocks in the freezer. An abundance of bath towels and flannels and shower gels. Very quiet neighbourhood. Off road parking.”
“A superb property and location, presented exquisitely by the hosts. We have travelled extensively, hand on heart this is the Crème de la crème, shropshire at its finest”
