“Our room was large and beautifully furnished the bathroom very good but a grap handle or two would be helpful
Breakfast was good a lovely buffet to start then a choice of freshly cooked delivered to your table.
Our evening meals were excellent a good choice of menu but since we were 13 persons plus a dog we were excluded from the beautiful dining room which as a view to die for . Personally I felt that the basement room in which we ate had little ambiance.”
“It was fun staying in Cabin Dan. Cosy and comfortable. Everything I needed. I was at a conference and I wanted somewhere a bit different to stay and this was perfect. Waking up with a view of a large field was lovely. The cabin had all the basics and a good shower. I left my car nearby rather than risk it getting stuck in the field if it rained and enjoyed the short walk in my wellies. There is a nice pub nearby for an evening drink. All v good. I left an article of clothing there and the owner helpfully will post it back to me.”

The hotel was lovely and cosy and perfectly placed from the train station as that is how we arrived. It was a 30second walk not 2mins as we saw advertised. The walking pack provided was brilliant and we did follow one of the walks through beautiful scenery. The food was sooo good, rather than go out for a meal on the second night we again ate in the hotel and it was good value for money.”
