“Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was hearty pub fare. Good selection of beers, including alcohol free. Breakfast was in the tearoom attached to the hotel and was very good. Note, it was not included in the accommodation price. Room was clean and the shower was hot and quite powerful. Two beds in the room, one double one single, were both four poster if you like that sort of thing. Dogs are welcome throughout all areas, which was a bonus. TV in the room had plenty of channels including HD.”
