“We were pleased to have booked 'One Holyrood Hotel' - it was a lovely stay with wonderful, friendly staff and our room was great!! We stayed in Room 5 which had a lovely carved wooden bed and very comfy mattress! The breakfast was excellent with quite a good selection of eggs, meats, cereals, etc. and was delicious! They have a beautiful garden in the back of the hotel with tables/chairs to sit and enjoy a drink or just relax after a day of sightseeing to admire the flowers especially the wisteria trailing over the arbour. The location is only a 5 minute walk from the bus station, easy to get to anywhere you desire on the Island. We bought a 7 day pass which allowed us to hop on/off, change bus #'s and explore the quaint villages and coastline.....all wonderful!! We highly recommend staying at 'One Holyrood Hotel' - you'll be happy you did!!”
