“Really lovely house, overlooking Offa's Dyke path, nearest neighbours perhaps 1/4 mile away. Lots of owls, sheep below and horses in field above house. Plenty of space for dogs on site. Lovely warm kitchen well equipped with cafetiere, basics for washing up, and first night essentials. Great sitting room with huge open fireplace and lots of wood provided. Huge wood fired pizza oven on main patio with a large outside table, and large wood fired hot tub on bottom patio next to a bedroom. Plenty of wood and kindling supplied, heats up in a couple of hours, and retains heat overnight. A great hit. Massive boiler and the Aga kept the house warm in cold and drizzly weather.WiFi worked well. Lots of different levels in the house, and some very steep stairs and low lintels, so not suitable for very young children/ elderly or those planning on heavy drinking. Very comfortable beds, and good sized bathrooms.”
