How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location is quite far from city centre. Breakfastarea is very small.

A bit more of a guide to local amenities would have been nice; other than this I have little else to say!
The Warren Collection has a great location very close to Queen's University Belfast. This made it easy to navigate back to and from when exploring the city, as well as having great amenities nearby. Check in was smooth and well-communicated and the room, while compact, was very nice. I only had time to grab breakfast to go, but there was a wide array of options available.

Our room (no5) was very warm and didn't have a window to open. There was a door but we didn't want to leave it open while we slept. We did however have a fan on the lovely room. But obviously that's a wee bit noisy. We were only staying one night, so it was fine .

The boiler made noise a couple of times at night during our stay, room 1 is next to it. Breakfast was ok but not enough options: not vegetable milk option, juice was not natural, supermarket pastry and just jam, cheese and salami for the toasts. I missed some scramble or boiled eggs, sausages and soy/oat milk.
The room was big and comfortable, no key needed to be carried, just a pin code to access. Quick check in and fabulous common area downstairs, super cozy. Location is also good, 2/3 minutes from the botanic park.

Would definitely like to stay again - but next time would ask for a room at the back of the house as it’s on a very noisy street Also the TV did not work

Absolutely not soundproof. Walls are paper-thin. We could hear everything next door where saying. Windows are not soundproof either, so traffic, road crossing beeping, sirens. Needs better sound proofing. Beds way to soft
Very nice continental breakfast, fresh and nice options. Nice area for breakfast and lobby area. Place was very clean

We were on the very top floor with 5 flights of stairs to get up with all our luggage and the staff didn't help.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. One of the staff helped us with finding our way around Belfast and he accommodated us by changing our next room to a lower floor.

The bed was really uncomfortable, my husband and I had 2 dreadful nights sleep and we even went out and bought 2 pillows as we had booked 2 nights accommodation. There is limited reception staff and no one to let you in unless you receive the code to get the front door and that was within business hours. The don’t start breakfast till 8am so if you want to head off early you may miss breakfast.
Room very nice and clean. Bigger than I expected, 20 minute walk into town. Easy to find. Great pub across the road for dinner. The continental breakfast was nice.

The room was very cramped with little space for travel bags and two guests. The shower lacked pressure and there was effectively no hot water pressure in the basin. The room was hot and stuffy. The stairs were very steep and negotiating them with luggage at our age was challenging.
Breakfast was very simple and basic. Parking posed an issue but fortunately we were allowed to park at the sister hotel a block away

Nothing I can think of.
Caroline is the owner and greeted us with the keys and explained everything to us. The guesthouse is located close to nice restaurants at walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. We could pak our two motorcycles on the front yard. Breakfast was good and the WiFi works perfectly. A nice place to be.

There wasn't any lift to reach the rooms. The room was very little; so just some difficulties to organize the luggage.

The bed was a little too soft, but otherwise very comfortable!

Couple of disadvantages: 1. Stairs - had to climb 3-4 floors to get to the room 2. No hot water, we had to shower in cold water + it was month of Feb (you can imagine to cold water) 3. Very budget hotel - meaning no space for anything except bed!
It was close to the center, lot of attractions around for the location. Staff was really helpful while checking out and at the time of breakfast.

Not clear at booking that breakfast is a very basic continental breakfast and extra charge for cooked breakfast. Low water pressure on top floor. One night, there was music until 3am, probably from next door.

On our second night at around 23:30 until 1:00am maybe later there was loud music coming from next door I was in room 3, also breakfast we struggled to get a table so had to wait for one to become free.
Our room was a really nice size we was in room 3 had a lovely big window looking into the street bathroom was great as well. Breakfast was basic but a nice spread of food.

Really comfortable. A good location to get away from the hustle of the city but the bus stop 1 minute away from the location takes you straight into the center.
