I didn't like the elevator. It was small and cramped for the amount of people and luggage we had.

The location was excellent. It was just a short distance from the train station, the bus tours picked up right outside, and there were restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance.

Staff were not very helpful. Bathroom door handle came off and friend was trapped in bathroom within an hour of arriving. Reported to reception who advised maintenance would look at it. Next morning told no maintenance till Monday and no effort made to rectify or apologise for inconvenience. On last night said it wasn’t good enough that 3 couples sharing a bathroom can’t even close the door and they said they could try and move us for our last night

Location was perfect to explore on foot. Bus tour on the doorstep and easy access to bars and food

Had issues with water heater, staff attempted to fix it but it was only temporary. They did eventually move us to a different room which was amazing.

We were on ground floor room 12 two bus stops outside window you could hear drunken arguments would book room 13 if went again .But I'd still book outside noise not staffs problem

Cant think of anything except we didnt have a lovely view as seen from the Roof Terrace.

The apartment was very convenient for the Waverly Station, the St James Quarter, Princess Street Gardens and the centre of Edinburgh. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and very clean. We enjoyed having a kitchen and found that there were supplies of tea, coffee, chocolate drink, sugar and a container of milk. The Roof terrace was lovely and we hope to come in the summer to enjoy sitting out there. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly.

There was no hand shower available in the bath, only wall mounted one, which made it a bit harder with kids, but this is just a minor thing. Both bedroom doors had this automatic closure mechanism, that was a bit annoying and we had to use kids slippers to block them to stay open. :)

We stayed at Princes Street Suites for 4 nights and we couldn't choose better place. The location is excellent, all main historical sites are within walk distance, staff was very nice and welcoming, the room was spacious, had everything we needed for our stay. Our room had the view of an old cemetery, someone might find it spooky, but we didn't mind at all, it all added to the very special Edinburgh's atmosphere and we very much enjoyed every minute in this beautiful city and hotel.

Excellent Location, close to Waverly Station and tram stop 5 minutes walk away. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and pleasant helpful staff. Roof top terrace with great views across central Edinburgh.

Absence of printed instructions for use of heating system and all appliances so that guests use them properly.

The heating system was difficult to manage and no printed instructions were provided though staff did try to help. It was very handy to have a washing machine and drying rack in the apartment .

Edinburg has been afflicted with the same traffic nonsense as London. So there is no parking in the hotel and the closest "centralised parking zone" was a good 10 mins walk away. Finding it was a problem, but the staff provided a location, and dropping off at the hotel was difficult. Personally, I wouldn't bother to visit Edinburg again for these reasons, although the town itself is fun, but the hotel itself was ok.

The hotel was fine in all respects. We actually had a suite of 3 rooms, which was good for the price. It was effectively self catering, so no hotel breakfast, etc.

The only minor criticism I would make is that there were insufficient bathroom supplies (shampoo, towels, etc.) - based on the number of guests - available. However, once the staff were made aware, they immediately provided us with additional supplies in minutes.

Our stay at Princes Street Suites in Edinburgh was very pleasant. The location was convenient - in the city centre - and directly adjacent to an airport express bus stop. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a short, comfortable stay. The service was efficient, and the staff were friendly and respectful. Overall, a very satisfactory experience, recommended and would choose to stay again in the future.

Huge rip in the sofa & sometimes not enough of certain things in the kitchen. But very small issues.

Everything, stunning apartment so comfortable , spacious and spotless. Everything you needed if you wanted to cook for yourself. Fantastic location, roof terrace was amazing wow the views . Definitely stay again
