We looked forward to sitting reading at the gorgeous big table in the main space while food was cooking. It was far too dark and we had to bring down lamps from other rooms. Some more lamps on side tables or close by that are good for reading would be good. Maybe we are not representative of visitors

It wasn’t clear from the description that one of the bedrooms is open plan to all the living area, on a mezzanine level. There’s a fabric blind to visually separate it from the rest of the barn but nothing to stop the sound; if there’s a group of 4 (as in our case) it can be an issue if people go to bed/ get up at different times.

Truly fabulous and beautiful property, wonderfully renovated with lovely touches. It has a HUGE kitchen / dining area and a comfortable open plan sitting area on an upper level. Super comfy beds and quality bedding. Very generous teas/ coffees / toiletries etc. 1km to Le Manoir.

We couldn't get the audio equipment to work initially. The lounge area could be arranged better if the single bed was removed.

No street lighting in the village so bit precarious walking back. No privacy from the road, curtain removed from end window. Outside area ok but no view to speak of, couldn’t get Bluetooth speaker to work. Very odd furniture set up. Cafetière needs replacing as it leaks.

Lovely little village - perfect location for our trip to Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. The barn was absolutely wonderful, a huge entertaining space and the interior design was beautiful. The terrace was a welcome addition too, we enjoyed the early evening sun with a glass of bubbles!

Beautiful building perfectly located for a visit to Le Manoir.

Lack of privacy. A curtain on the bottom part of the kitchen door/window would help to not ve stared at by dog walkers and other user of the public footpath. The rail for it is there but no curtain. As I sat on the floor infront of the tv to work out the sound system, noticed few random socks and other items around the tv and under the sofa. Another sock was by the window in the downstair bedroom.

This is a stunning place with all the mod con, well situated for walks or town visits.

Fabulous property in an ideal location for our visit to the nearby Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. Sarah, our host, communicatd clearly well in advance on the check-in and -out procedures, which was very helpful, as were her detailed directions. The barn itself is absolutely fabulous; we loved our stay and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful barn. So much space and beautiful decor. Very quiet inside barn. Loved it. I'm glad Sarah gave great directions otherwise it wouldn't be so easy to find. Lovely village. Bring a torch if you are planning to walk to the pub or Manoir.
