Tamworth's one way system!!!

Centrally located to Tamworth Town centre, a 5 minute walk away, less than a minute from the local Aldi for any supplies needed, Lidl round the corner from Aldi. One allocated numbered car parking space matching the number of the apartment, very close to the apartment, so not far to carry your luggage. Light, airy, modern, clean ground floor apartment. Settee comfy in the living area, large flat screen TV. Heating was on for me upon arrival, which is a nice touch. Hive thermostat control on the wall next to the living room. Nice sized bathroom, I found the towels to be fine and over the radiator, so nice and warm. So refreshing to stay in accommodation with a bath! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash miniatures supplied. Shower is not thermostically controlled, just a bath shower mixer with shower riser, ground floor flat so shower pressure worked fine. Kitchen had microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, oven, washer-dryer combined should you need them. Cutlery, dining set, tumblers and wine glasses for 6 in the drawer and cupboards. I have read some reviews that highlight that there are are no tea/coffee supplies. Upon my stay, there was some Twinings tea and some sugar in the cupboard, but again, two supermarkets within hopping distance both open until 10pm if required. Larger bedroom is closest to the road and being the centre of town is busy all hours, so if you're a light sleeper, maybe choose the other bedroom. This location is close to the local railway station also. The smaller bedroom has a slightly firmer mattress, both beds are quite low to the floor. The pillows as mentioned in other reviews are flimsy, so either come prepared or if you're a solo traveller, put them all in one pillowcase! Ample closet space in both bedrooms, both have bed side lights also. Smaller bedroom is directly next to the entrance to the apartment block, so be prepared for some comings and goings, and maybe keep the curtains closed.

Maybe a couple more pillows for us who like a couple each, but everything else was great.

Great location to walk to Tamworth centre. Parking space with other spaces available for visitors. The property was clean, had everything you needed for a night or even longer. Fridge/freezer, Wi-Fi, TV for background music. Local Aldi for groceries very nearby. Highly recommend.

The only thing that wasnt good was the shower fixture on the wall was loose so didn't hold the shower head. The minute you turn the shower on, the power of the shower just took the shower head out of the fixture so had to hold the shower head when showering. Did mention this to the owner but didn't get a response. Hopefully it gets fixed before someone's next visit. Would also mention, if you haven't received a message off the owner on the day of your visit, send him a message for the key code combination. Sounds like a booking.com fault but otherwise, you won't get it.

The apartment was beautiful. Every need catered for. The location was great. Very clean. I have already recommended this place to friends and family. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Great value for money and perfect location right in the heart of Tamworth town and 3 minute drive to snowdome. Would definitely and will be staying again! Would highly recommend!

I cannot sa there was anything not to like.

The apartment was very well equipped. It seemed to be a newly decorated room and was very comfortable. The owner was very helpful in the way key safe instructions were given.

Our only grumble was the pillows, which were very thin and not many of them. In fact, we bought some cheap pillows for a more comfortable second nights sleep.

Communication about the key was very good. The property was very clean, well equipped with the basics, and generally comfortable. Easy waking distance into town and easy access to road networks and public transport for going into Birmingham and accessing other places nearby.

I was told the code for the lock box for the keys would be sent to me on the day. When we arrived it still hadn't been sent so couldn't get in initially. It was pouring with rain and we were cold and wet. No one was answering the phone so after 3 attempts I sent an email via the booking confirmation then called the estate agent through there website and finally got through. We had to wait for a call back and were finally given the code.Then recieved a reply to my email with the needed details Not a good start. I found my bed too soft and it sagged on one side. No complaints re the 2nd bed

Very clean modern lovely apartment. Would stay again. Plenty of plates etc in the kitchen, lovely towels in the bathroom. Nicely laid out Definate value for money.

That it was next to the humbled job centre!

Lovely little let. Very clean. Comfortable. Overall a great stay and would stay again. Would help if a few sachets of coffee were to be left as a gesture of appreciation.

Hassle free booking close to major shops and town centre onsite parking big plus, modern clean property excellent appliances very good decor good communication with owner and great price would stay there again and would recommend. Heating was on for our arrival nice touch as the temperature outside was quite cold.

The outside overflowing rubbish bins were a bad impression on what was a good unit. The rubbish collection people (council) and/ or body corp for building really letting you down. First impressions are always important. Shower over bath not user friendly if you are older or have disability. Could do with a walk in shower. Pillows.

Proximity to shops, castle, transport. Lots of things to do in and around Tamworth. Good hub to travel to other areas. Huge living and dining area. Plenty of storage. Big kitchen.

but the thing that let it down was, that when I went to get in bed I noticed hairs and dust all in the bedding on the fitted sheet that I had to sleep on i checked the other bed and that was the same, it's a shame to that such a nice place got the basic so bad
