The bedroom was damp, the sounds of other people entering and leaving in the building is intrusive. Housekeeping hadn't been told of our arrival.

The location overlooking the water is fantastic. The lounge is comfortable the kitchen practical and well equipped.

It was a little tricky trying to get into the key box on arrival but apart from that everything was perfect.

The apartment was very clean, fully equipped and close to all shops, restaurants and pubs etc. The communication before arriving was excellent and I would definitely recommend this property. The view of the river from the apartment was particularly lovely too.

The main bedroom was not as warm as the rest of the house.

Great location with a lovely view over the river Dart. Shops and restaurants were just a couple of minutes walk from the house. Lovely cosy living room.

A roast dinner Sundays only . A salad garnish used to be included with meals everywhere & is now a side order , a meal looks so sad & unloved without creativity .

Wonderfully situated , beautiful views across the river Dart to Kingswere from front window . Close access to shops , food , pubs . Refreshing uplifting coastal path walks to Dartmouth Castle with stunning views. Steam Train GWR to Paignton & return on river ferry , Wow !

Dampness of the main bedroom

We stayed during good summer weather but I imagine in colder weather the bedrooms would have felt dark, cold and probably damp, only because it’s an old building built up against a stone cliff.

The view from the lounge overlooking the estuary was so lovely. It was an easy walk to the river, pubs and shops. Dartmouth is a great place.

There was a smell of damp and several woodlice. It was mainly quiet but neighbours above sounded like a herd of buffalo at night (obviously not the owners of number 2’s fault) - bliss when they left!

The lovely view and the easy stroll into Dartmouth and back. There were several routes down to Dartmouth and just having just a very few steps up to the door was a bonus. The parking permit was very useful, though I appreciate it wouldn’t be of much use in high season. The pull-in space opposite was very useful on arrival, although we were able to park on the road for our last night which was useful for loading the car. The pull-in was the best place to turn the car around, much more difficult further up the hill.

Parking was difficult as the 'free' carpark was always full....free access to the park and ride seams to have been taken away which is a shame.

The safe key was difficult to use. The bedrooms were small and dark plus a movement sensitive light caused problems one night as it shone into the double bedroom.

The location was great and the view from the lounge across the river to Kingswear.

I appreciate the position of the building, but the bedroom was damp. The bathroom is looking tired. There was no toilet paper, dishcloths or sponges (which were promised). I didn’t expect toilet rolls for the whole stay, but at least one.

Was damp. Smelt damp, bedding and then our clothing were damp. Most unpleasant. Decor passable. Microwave ancient and plate did not rotate. No oven trays to heat food. Washing machine provided (full of bedding when we arrived) but no facilities to dry so no use at all. Owner aware of damp with same comments from other travellers. Dehumidifier in bedroom did not help the problem. Didn’t want to open bedroom window for ventilation as it opened onto the bin area.

The bathroom tiles need groating they were black in places as was the shower door.The back bedroom was so damp the carpet felt wet and the bed felt damp at night My clothes were damp after being hung in the wardrobe. The second bedroom with single bed was fine

We loved the view and the lounge area. The place was well equipped and we had all we neaded for our stay. It was.very close to shops and pubs. The view from the lounge window was beautiful

Fir the price the furnishing were well below standard especially the bedrooms. Cheap Poly cotton on sheets and duvets in very hot weather and the bedrooms more like student accommodation
