Great stay, but an unresponsive host unfortunately.

We were told that there was a washing machine on site, which there was. Unfortunately, it didn’t work (a red symbol kept popping up, saying the door wasn’t sealed, which after quite a bit of research, we believe is a control board malfunction). I reached out to the host for assistance—twice over a couple of days—and didn’t receive a response. I was then sent the check out information on the same text thread with no acknowledgement of our request for help.

The location was great and the property was well furnished. It was almost everything we needed for a restful stay.

Property was a bit 'tired'. Oven hood, hoover, washing machine didn't work and there appeared to be a leak from the bath (shower) as the bathroom floor was always wet.

Good location close to Cabot Circus and other City Centre amenities

A very clean and well equipped small terraced house with a small garden. The kitchen and bathroom are in very good condition. First impression of the area was not so nice, but it was peaceful and the neighbours are very nice. Parking is free outside the door from 17-9. During the day it costs £1/h max 3h. The host offered a discounted residents ticket but I had taken care of it too late. So we found a parking space for £6/d in 5 min walk. We had a problem locking the front door but had overlooked the host's message about the key safe. Here the host was easy to reach via the app and had helped quickly. It takes 10 minutes to get to the city centre by bus and 20-30 minutes on foot. We liked the Bakehouse and spicer+cole for breakfast.

Parking is a bit ambiguous but to be fair that's totally outside the control of the homeowner and there are plenty of options nearby.

Great location and really homely. Efficient heating, internet was good. Had everything we needed for our stay.

The bigger bedroom and the living room smelled of tobacco, probably from the carpet flooring. The extractor hood did not work. Would be a plus if they added a coffee maker. The host did not reply to my messages, nothing serious or critical but I would've appreciated more fluent communication besides the automated messages. These comments should not discourage you from booking the house, and should be considered only as "areas to improve".

Spacious rooms, kitchen equipped with washing machine and dishwasher, clean bathroom. Energy savings measures: appliances were connected to switches, so they could be powered off completely to avoid waste of energy. Super quiet environment and neighbours, both during weekdays and on the weekend. Not so far from the city centre, to where you can get by taxi/car in a few minutes, or 30 minutes walk.

Patio doors are a little hard to shut properly, but literally that was the only very minor thing in the house. I'd probably advise using the main roads to walk into the city. We took some side streets coming back and we passed some very dodgy characters.

Perfect overnight stop for our family of four (plus the canine family member). Had everything we needed and we could park outside. Had such a good sleep. Loved the modern sash windows! Easy walk into the city.

D: Couldn't find a wifi password anywhere so had to rely on data. Abit of a musky smell inside the house for a bit until you get used to it (maybe some automatic air refreshener should do the trick? :)) And we couldn't close the garden door, not sure how hard you'd need to tug it but we tried our best in a cautious matter without breaking it. +(Personally I've found my brain couldn't figure out how to open the door after setting the code, but my partner figured it out easy(he's good with puzzles and such so if you're not let them do it hahaha)

It was very close to the centre, lovely little garden to sit down (even had a bbq there which we didn't use, haha), the house was spacious and comfortable, rooms are alot more modernized than the pictures show!! Only spent the night there but wouldn't mind having an extended stay sometime :) Lovely and quiet. (FOR THE HOST- Unfortunately being a numpty I forgot my phone charger, so apologies for not letting you know when we moved out from the property! I've tried to remember where to put the used bedding & towels so hopefully it was okay!! Thank you so much for providing us a shelter :)) )
