they advertised bed and breakfast BUT with the suite you are only can have continental ! no eggs or nothing else warm. and the stairs are quiere difficult to sort them out with a normal size suitcase. the entrance was filthy. and then by 7 am you can hear the young children crying because the neighbors are a nursery.

    the suite is very confortable.

A hidden gem, beautiful old world charm restored to create a lovely place for you to hide away for a night or two whilst exploring Norwich or to just get away… and then in the morning the most luxurious breakfast lovingly prepared by hand to order - no buffet here - just the best breakfast you’re likely to have outside of Michelin star chef’s wet dream…

The only minor issue is that the property sits on a narrow street this generally very quite however, there where a couple of noisy lorrys comming through early in the morning (0730).

The accommodation is great, the room was well appointed, comfortable, and clean. The feel of the room was very boutique and in sympathy with the period of the building. The only slight exception was the bathroom which was more modern. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of options

There was debris in the window frames and sills which could have been hoovered away and the throw on the bottom of the bed was a little grubby. Also there were crumbs on the breakfast table mat

The room was beautiful and the B and B is in a great location. The breakfast was excellent.and the the manager/chef was very friendly.

The car park is literally a stone through away, but be warned; the spaces are extremely tight. If you have anything larger than a mini, you may struggle; sadly, the 38 St Giles can do nothing about that.

The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It had all the facilities you would need and the chocolate cake laid out upon arrival was a nice touch but not as nice as the cake itself which was to die for! The location was surprisingly quiet for the city centre. This could have been because the bed was so comfortable that I slept sound. The breakfast was well presented and absolutely delicious. The hosts were gracious and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. A definite must to stay again.

Unfortunatly we couldn´t open the windows in our room, which was probably a safety precaution, as our room was right next to the street.

The location of the B&B was very close to the centre, so everything (including many beautiful cafés) is in walking distance. For breakfast, there was an divers range of options, from starters, to main, vegtarian and full english, and especially the home made granola was excellent. Overall, the staff was very kind and the accommodating, and the B&B made us feel very welcomed.

The property was fantastic. A tiny thing was that we thought there would be a hairdryer but we couldn’t find one.

The property is beautiful, comfortable and we loved the layout. The shower is gorgeous! The kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave!

We would have liked a hair dryer and thinner duvet. Also shame about lack of cake which was a lovely (and delicious) treat last time we stayed. For the town house, it would have been good to have had the TV located in the sitting room rather than the bedrooms.

We stayed in the town house which has a fabulous location in central Norwich. The house is extremely comfortable, nicely decorated and has a sitting room, dining room and kitchen shared between its two bedrooms (one is en suite and the other bedroom has access to a separate bathroom). The breakfast at 38 St Giles is a real highlight with lovely freshly squeezed orange juice and a great choice of excellent breakfast options.
