Its good place, clean and quiet, Derek is a manager of the place and he was so helpful, i recommend to everyone because some place the manager or the owner will stay next you and you don’t feel comfortable, if i going again i will go to this place 👍

The entrance to the building, stairs etc is grotty and needs painting/updating as it doesn't create a good first impression. Shared bathroom but I never had to wait.

Comfortable room, good location not far from centre and the Meadows. Useful to have a kitchen and fridge.

Heating didn't work the first night, but was working well in the second night after it was notified to the manager.

Room was spacious. Derek was very kind and helpful. Good facilities, perfect location. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

The entrance and stairs to the apartment do not give a good impression as they need a good lick of paint. This may be happening soon. The actual apartment is fine.

I really enjoyed my stay. The apartment is in a good location near to shops, cafes, the Meadows etc. The owner was very responsive and got back very quickly with replies. I had a nice room with window looking out to a wee garden. Bathrooms were shared but there are two of them and I never had to wait.There is also a communal kitchen with hob, fridge etc which is very handy.

Lovely room with everything one needs in a well-run apartment. It's close to the centre and the nearest park and has the next grocery shop just downstairs. Plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants are nearby, as is the bus stop so it's literally just 5 mins to the Royal Mile.

The staff were a little hard to contact. We had to leave early on the morning of check out and we’re told the kitchen would open at 7:30. Unfortunately the kitchen was still locked at 8am (after we needed to leave) and we weren’t able to get hold of anyone to get our things out.

Dimly lit walking up 2 flights of stairs. Shared bathroom scenario is ok but 2 shower rooms/ toilet between 6 rooms so at least 12 people. Perhaps a suggestion of a polite notice that I the morning, take a shower but then return to your room to beautify yourself. I waited 45 minutes in the morning ( full bladder+++) and was 1st in the queue. Could have done with a tv

Honestly we were really happy with everything.

Location was perfect for the night. It was loud, but that’s to be expected in the city so didn’t bother us at all. Had a brilliant time. The rooms were so warm as well.

During later hours of the night,they were people moving up and about making some noise.

The bedroom was so clean and cozy so as the bathrooms ,the apartment was smelling good.

the sliding lock on the bathroom door is broken, so the owners have installed a second one. However, they didn't remove the old one, and you can't tell it's broken, so you use it. Then someone walks in on you. I saw this three times during my one night stay. Once I walked in on someone and assumed they forgot to lock. Later someone walked in on me, which is how I discovered the lock was broken and I had to use a separate, different lock. Then while leaving I noticed someone walking in on someone else. It's another brainer to fix this so I'd encourage the owners to do so asap.

Not much not to like stairs up to apartment slightly narrow but can't be helped it could do with a few more lights too. Shared bathroom not a problem just small, one shower didn't get hot.

There was plenty of space in this first floor homestay apartment, loved the old town house with the high ceilings, it was warm, very clean and kept tidy, beds was comfortable also had a fridge and kettle in the room too. Kitchen was a bonus with it's ovan and microwave. Bathroom are small but tidy. 10 min walk to castle and royal mile.
