The only negative I can think of is that there's no socket near the bed for charging. There are plenty of sockets in the room though.

I expected this hotel to be lovely, based on photos and reviews, but it exceeded my expectations. Staff are so welcoming and helpful, the room was big with a couch and comfortable bed and pillows, complimentary water, iron, hairdryer and mini bar. Nice bathroom with good shower. Location is excellent, next to Neighbourhood cocktail bar and so many bars and restaurants nearby, 2 mins walk to Matthew Street, 4 mins walk to Liverpool One. Definitely my favourite hotel in Liverpool!

I drew the short straw of noisy neighbours but that's not the hotels fault.

The room was so spacious and it was great to have the seating area/dressing area as well as the bed. We choose to have breakfast in our room. It came on time both days and was lovely. Reasonable price on the mini bar. Was a nice touch.

the tap in bathroom was the wrong way round, so you’d put it to cold and it would be hot & the hot side would be cold (not sure if this is an issue in all rooms or just ours) other than that we had a fantastic stay!

Ideal location, quiet of a night. Lovely attentive staff, good room size & well stocked with teas coffees etc. minibar in room with chilled drinks and snacks great value for money, would stay here again!

A few things weren’t really thought through. No sockets or charging points by the bed. No toilet brush (embarrassing). Tissue box in bathroom was empty. Overhead shower was lovely but set at too low a height so a tall person wouldn’t fit under it.

Only one issue - the shower head is too low so my 6’3”husband couldn’t get under it, so it was difficult to enjoy a proper shower. I’m only 5’5” and it was just enough room to get under! Disappointing as everything else was perfect!

We had a third floor corner suite which was fabulous! Great views! Windows that open! Plus a huge fan - the building felt very warm. It was very comfortable and spotless and the desk staff were lovely.

There is really nothing I have an issue with, any criticism is so minor that I think it irrelevant. Excellent hotel and they really cater to your every need. If you have an issue they will do their absolute best to fix it.

Regular visitor here, everything is top notch. Undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Liverpool. Spacious, clean, all the facilities and creature comforts you could want, top notch room service and cozy bedding.

Only problem was the room's can get a bet hot with it being an older building & it was a difficult sleep not being near to a window. But this is minor & only a personal preference. The rest was fantastic!

We were really impressed with this hotel. Booked it last minute and couldn’t believe the value for money. It’s in a great location and the room was so big and spacious. Very comfortable bed with good quality linens. The decor was quirky and interesting. The room was also very quiet. Great shower and everything was clean and beautifully presented. Very friendly and welcoming guy on check in. They also provided us with a voucher for a nearby car park which brought the price for 24 hours down from £ 24 pounds to £9! Many thanks for a lovely stay.
