Nothing - stay was perfect!

Beautiful quirky cottage, ideally located from the centre, parking permit available, excellent communication throughout. Owners added some lovely personal touches during our stay. Definitely returning, even though I live very close to Llangollen.

Couldn’t get the heating higher than 17.5 degrees so chilly but found some cozy blankets.

Quirky, thoughtfully decorated with opera theme and immaculate. Great communication with owners via WhatsApp and useful videos sent in advance of the stay.

Locations is excellent, so near to everything whilst being quiet. Cottage is so clean and tidy. Kitchen holds everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Thanks for the lovely touches, chocolate, cake and prosecco, beverages and toiletries. Free parking which is a bonus. Comfortable beds. If you have any queries or problems Debbie sorts it out in no time.

Absolute perfection! The cottage is so beautifully decorated, very quirky, cosy yet opulent all at the same time. The enormous bed was so comfortable too! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. The heating was on and there were thick plush blankets to curl up on the sofa with. The host, Debbie, sent us useful videos on how to find it, where to park and how to get in, and how to work the TVs and washing machine if we needed it, and was in touch by text to let us know she was on hand nearby if required. There was milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, a delicious vanilla cake, and a bottle of Prosecco and some beers! And it's tucked up a lovely riverside street right in the centre of town so a minute's walk to the nearest shop or pub. We couldn't have asked for better. Thank you so much Debbie we loved it!

Let me think ... what didn't I like??? Hmmm ... nothing as it was all perfect.

Where do I begin …. WOW, WOW, WOW. Host Debbie is so informative from the word go, sending videos and photos of everything you need to know along with things that could also be useful. I do get fed up of leaving drab reviews about places I've stayed but The Opera Suites deserves sooooo much more than that so here goes, the cottage is opulent, wonderful, fantastic, quirky, clean, comfortable (especially the huge bed) and some might say a little bit weird but in a really good way though :) It is everything it promises and more besides, every time we looked around we saw something different. Whether your on a romantic getaway or a girly weekend this place is really going to work for you. To top all of this off when we arrived there where lovely gifts from our host too. I really could just go on and on and on about here. Marks out of 10 ….. 20!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Not quite a criticism but the first night we arrived it was cold and took a while for the house to warm up. But we got the fire going so it wasn’t too bad.

Very comfortable. Cottage was beautiful and decorated very quirky but different and lovely. On arrival lovely music playing, bottle of Prosecco and a lemon drizzle cake waiting for us. Location was brilliant, 2minutes walk from the centre of Llangollen. You can actually see the river from the bedroom window.

Great location, 3 minute walk into central llangollen. We stayed for my mums 60th birthday, a girlie weekend with just mum and daughters and so glad we chose this property for our weekend away! The property is located in a quiet street and the house itself was cozy, clean and has the most amazing quirky decor, with so many fascinating things to look at. The house was clean, well equipped and the host even left a bottle of Prosecco and a fresh cake! Lovely touch. The hosts are brilliant nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic stay. The videos were a lovely touch too and made it easy for us to locate the car park and property. We would absolutely stay again! Thank you

When we arrived it was a bit cold and damp (like that's a surprise for Wales in winter...) and it took a while to heat up. However, there were blankets available.

This place was wonderful. It's decor is theatrical quirky and really fun. The location is perfect - right in Llangollen and near the river, canal, shops and pubs. Parking is a short walk to the property and a parking permit was waiting for us on arrival. The hosts were exceptional! Videos of how to find the location and where to park were sent in advance which made the whole journey to the place really easy. The beds were so comfy and the lemon drizzle cake that was left for us on arrival was delicious. I can't fault this place and highly recommend staying here.

Location excellent ,a short walk into town,convenient for long weekend stay.Staying at No 8 a unique experience-loved the quirky decor (and sleeping in a king size 4 poster bed!!).

Spotlessly clean, beautifully styled house in the heart of town, close to all amenities and attractions. Walking route from the door onto traffic free paths. The owner could not do any more for you or be more helpful, provides you with video guides for the property, local attraction ideas, and is very responsive. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever stayed in, and we had the most peaceful nights of sleep. Parking is free with a permit at a nearby car park, for which comprehensive instructions are provided. The whole stay was seamless and that made it so relaxing; a gem in the heart of Llangollen.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable with good quality bedding. The kitchen although small contained everything that we needed for our 3 night stay. Althoug we did not meet he host face to face, she kept in contact with us before we arrived, during our stay and as we left to make sure that everything was OK . The prosecco and cake was a lovely surprise and very welcome.
